   Works like a charm. Just drag and drop in the NativeWin64 folder and replace the file.
   
   And to address some comments:
   

   
   
   • Steam didn't detect my DS4, hence why I came here, as pressing the right QTE can be the difference between a game over or simply shrugging off a grab.
     
   • The latest download file asks for an external program which is not necessary, maybe the uploader should change that to avoid confusion.
     

   
   Anyway, thanks for the mod
   OG Dead Rising is still going strong.

   Just a heads up that this mod isn't needed if you're using a DUALSHOCK 4 controller with the most recent "remastered" version. The game automatically detects the DUALSHOCK 4 and changes the icons to PS icons.

      Most of the players around world using free, torrent edition. No one need to buy anything from steam.

      I updated my comment to say "remastered" instead of Steam. If you've pirated it, good chance you're using the most recent version also found on Steam.

      hmm, it looks like Dualshock buttons appear natively here too. I've checked it like 20min ago. So you indeed don't need this mod. Version I've downloaded is from 2018
      I've tried mod like year ago but couldn't download app you need for this, so I've stopped playing

      it is needed, since using native Dualshock 4 mode will have no rumble
