I have an i5-11300H, GeForce RTX 3050, 70w Laptop. It's an ok laptop, running this mod and installing the normal preset with the Dlss mod set to quality, I can now run the game at 1080p - High Preset with some other settings set to ultra. I now get around 60-65 FPS stable and drops around to 55 before it was 40 - 45 -50 fps with only Dlss but now my playing experience is smoother. I can tweak the settings differently to have even more FPS, but I like seeing a quality image with decent frame rate.
thanks bro its works.! i din't put GameDefaultEngineReference thats where i got error. but i got another error when i press start i got error.?? and yes mod install is successfuly. but i dont understand the error.?
It's probably the combination of certain things, the mod originally was created for Star Wars Jedi Survivor and I didn't want to test every single thing because I am rather lazy, it could possibly be the view distance that causes this transparent glitch, just set it to the highest or 0 (default the game uses).
Additionally you could uninstall and reinstall the mod as this will reset the engine.ini of the game (doesnt affect ingame settings or game progression)
I did uninstall, tried your preset after and turned sharpening to 0. View distance has been 0. Not sure if I'm noticing any changes which is odd.
Is this more or less the correct process? Download your app (download file on SW Jedi), install the deadisland2 config (the mod file on this page), Open the app, use the deadisland2 config, then click "install mod"?
Yes, that is the right process, Strange thing with the transparent thingy, I had it too but only once and I thought it was related to the view distance since I had that at a pretty low value when I tested it.
the transparency thing is cause of the TAAU tweak in the .ini, if you enable that along with the TAA in the settings menu ingame it does that along with the gun holosights disappearing but gameplay is fine, if you use FXAA it goes back to normal.

Thank you @Glumboi!!!
I installed normal then potato PC and noticed 1 change. The character was like 30% transparent when you click play (before loading into the game).
Am I doing something wrong?
