By the way, ignore all the blood staining on the sleeve in the one picture, Deacon was caught in a gun fight and the stains dont wanna go away from my pictures. No blood stains will be in your game.
Yes. You have to unpack the mod, delete all the outfit parts you don't need and re-pack it back. Last step is optional as you can just use resources unpacked. For example I'm only using pants from this mod and I didn't bother to re-pack it since I can't share it anyway.
this would have to be a custom mesh import, as i do not know of any good kevlar vests that exist. if youre lookin for something good ingame, theyre all messed up i think (and deacon's model doesnt agree with most and causes model glitching).
The custom mesh import guys that i know exist for the Nexus community are:
ShadowWolfT
Sirgalahad172
Wiwilz
Deadbot63
All of which their respective mods can be found here on the Nexus site for Days Gone. There's also a Days Gone Modding discord server here below. Which you can also post suggestions and comments on possible ideas for future mods.
I would love to use this mod, but for whatever reason, even after getting rid of all the mods in my paks folder, it still does not show the heavy jacket over deeks regular clothes! Any ideas?
I'm trying to use a different mod and I can't uninstall this one, I've reinstalled my game, verified files, gone through every folder I can find and it's not there but any time I load the game, I'm wearing this.
Hello there, sorry i couldnt respond sooner. I have had Hurricane Ida pass through with no internet in the area. Luckily i had it back today. Unfortunately i dont know why this is happening. But ill try to look into it.
This is meant for the secondary part of the main story when you go into a new area. However there is leftover parts used for Deacon during the beginning areas
Hi, sorry if this isn't the right place to question it, but how/what I needs to make a mod like yours? For example, I would like to put this cammo pants with the MC cut (and if possible, shirtless underneath), and without hat. I've dealt with mods before, but it was easier to mod (as I remember), from Notepad alone I could edit much things (State of Decay, on case. As I just saw this game (SoD2) also modded by .uassset files now) Thanks in advance and thanks for this mod! Worked fine here!
Photoshop is the main editing tool i use for textures. However for the rest its harded to explain. You can visit the modding discord to gain more knowledge https://discord.gg/mJhgCS8VFv
Thanks for the jacket mod but when i start up the game and play I see Deacon in the same default outfit. What did i do wrong. Some Help would be appreciated.

works good with other mods that remove stuff
