About this mod

"Let's take years to build a beautiful and immersive world for gamer's to get lost in, and then we can can switch our focus over to covering it all up with as many large and intrusive pop-us as possible, that way they don't get too immersed."

Provides options to either reduce some Objective based pop-ups, or remove them all together. Also has a option for a reduced Objective Waypoint Marker.

What this mods does:
So this might require a little explanation, given all the objective related pop-ups in the game, but this mod specifically focuses on the three pop-ups that appear when various missions are selected.

1) Story Objectives - These are missions that are part of one of the games stories, and appear in the upper left of the screen (see pictures). This includes things like main campaign missions and missions you receive from encampments. These pop-ups have two phases, with the first phase being an extremely large popup that then changes into a slightly smaller pop-up that stays on the screen for FAR to long.
MOD EFFECTS - There are two options for this. The standard version of the mod completely prevents the pop-up from appearing on the screen, and the "LITE" version greatly reduces the clutter and replaces both phases of the pop-up with a smaller and simpler text reminder that will then completely disappear after a second or two.

2) Open World Objectives - These are missions that take place completely outside in the open world, and appear on the right side of the screen, above the mini-map (see pictures). This includes things like Nero checkpoints and Nest missions. These pop-up will remain on the screen for the remainder that the mission is selected, but can also provide info that some might find helpful, such as how many Freaker nests still need to be destroyed, or how many Marauders maybe left in a camp.
MOD EFFECTS - There are two options for this. The standard version of the mod completely prevents the pop-up from appearing on the screen, and the "LITE" version removes most of the clutter for a smaller simplified text reminder. It will still remain on the screen for the remainder that the mission is selected.

3) Optional Objectives - These are missions of opportunity that appear in the bottom right of the screen to let you know when you are near some open would missions (see pictures). This includes things like Freaker Nests and Horde locations. This pop-up stays on the screen and will not disappear as long as you are in the area.
MOD EFFECTS - There is only one option for this, and that is to completely remove them from the game, as they are completely pointless and ruin the fun of running into these things on your own. I mean if I'm going to discover a Horde in the wild, its going to be from me accidentally running into it by accident and then freaking the 'F' out, like god intended, rather then the game giving me some unnecessary advanced notice, and ruining the surprise.

4) Optional file for a "Lite" Objective Waypoint Marker: Removes the backing graphics, the icon, and makes the text slightly smaller.

Notes:
- This mod only affects the pop-ups noted above, and should not impact any other objective related Hud elements, like new mission notifications, objective rewards, etc.

- All mod options can be mixed and matched as you see fit, however only use either the standard or "Lite" version of the 'Objective Hud pop-ups are the worst," not both.

- Also compatible with my other HUD mods.
XP Hud Pop-ups Are The Worst
Dpad Hud Pop-ups Are The Worst

How to Install:
Place modded Pak file into Pak folder located in "%LocalAppData%\BendGame\Saved\Paks". If Pak folder does not exist, you will need to create one.

Next, go to "Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DaysGone\BendGame\Content\sfpaks" and rename the "sfpaks" folder to "sfpakss" or whatever else you'd like. Just make sure to change the folders name.

Hope you Enjoy!
