Beside subjective of personal taste, I knew that so many type and models of Monitors/TVs out there. LCD/LED/OLED/QLED ; IPS/TN/VA... etc. And they have their own characteristic (from neutral colors to vibrant colors, high to low black levels/white point, etc).
Therefore I made a simple adjustment UI for this mod. You can adjust Color Saturation, Dark Levels, Light Intensity, etc.by press END keyboard button to show-up Reshade UI. Just adjust the value to matching with your current screen (Monitor/TV) or fit with your taste/liking.
You may also change 3D Stereoscopic mode from this UI. As default it's optimized for native 3D screen (LG Cinema 3D series, LED or OLED TV screen), therefore it starting with top-bottom 3D format. If you're using active 3D screen (e.g Sony or Samsung 3D screens); or VR 3D cinema virtual screen (e.g Virtual Desktop with Oculus Quest/Oculus Quest 2) please change it to SBS (side by side format) for better 3D Depth perception.
tips: - to get realistic night, your may increase "Dark Level" value to somewhere between 0.230 - 0.330. But for some indoor scenes, it may too dark, you will need to activate flashlight (by pressing F keyboard button). - If you feel image too sharp you may set "Sharpness" value to 0.00 - 0.100
I hope you like it.
Cheers, Chris update 05222021 : - I've temporary pulled the extreme version, since I think this version still need a lots of work to optimize it before re-upload it. - As I promised, now the Lite Edition (1.20) is available to be download. This version is using less shader passes; meaning it's faster and lighter than previous version. Highly recommended if you are pursuit high fps ;)
update 05232021 : - re-uploade the Extreme Edition with small revision (version 1.11). Please remember this version only suitable for user with a beefy PC Gaming and high-end monitor or TV screen (IPS or better with full dynamic range output). Therefore, please accept the performance hit as it. :)
update 06162021: Version 1.13 (Extreme Edition). This version added a warmer volumetric lighting mimic. Thanks to Stroinov for his reference and idea! :) You may press DEL keyboard button (toggle it ON and OFF, default is ON) to see the difference.
Hi, I'm just experimenting with this on a 1920x1080 monitor to see whether it's going to be worth investing in VR gear (for this and other games, once I've upgraded my system), I don't have any VR gear right now but I'm using the "slightly crosseyed but not" method that one used to use in order to view the old Magic Eye 3-d images in books (if you remember those), and I can get this working perfectly well and "popping" with the 3d in SBS mode (and it's not a bad Reshade either!) It's amazing to move around with a 3-d image.
But for me both images are squashed horizontally (so Deek is thin). Is there any way of figuring out what kind of resolution or whatever I'd have to have the game at to view the images unsquashed?
Hello great mod, the graphics are no longer soapy and are now beautiful, thanks for your work, but can you also do graphics and lighting from the mod developers like in this game trailer? The lighting in the trailer is very scenic. https://youtu.be/bGej8K1r8KI
You're welcome, mate! OK, I will look forward to mimic that lighting effects based on your video link. But, please give me a time to observe and learn it
UPDATE: OK, mate. I've uploaded a new version 1.13 (Extreme Edition) with that lighting effect (forgive me if this may not 100% exactly the same as the trailer). Now that light is bind to LightBoost. It will mimic a slightly yellow sun or yellow lamp. You can turn it ON/OFF by pressing DEL keyboard button.
BEFORE (previous version without LightBoost):
AFTER (with new LightBoost effect):
Since it's volumetric, maybe it's better if you try to look the lighting effect inside the game. You may try to press DEL button to compare the difference (when it's ON vs OFF ~ default: ON).
I hope you will like it.
Cheers, Chris
PS. Thank you for the reference and idea. I think now I love this version more than the previous version! :)
Hi mate, Thanks for your consideration I know what's your thinking. But these are shaders mod pack, not just a Reshade preset or standard shaders. In the past, if I put it as Reshade, then some friends trying to mix-up with standard Reshade shaders and end-up with crashes or some weird images result.

A quick video preview
** I'm sorry it just in 1080p non VP9 format, since my internet connection is getting worse and I cannot upload big files to YouTube :'(
It looks great, with hassle free install and function.
Cheers,
Chris
