I was experiencing the same issues other people had: med works but everything else doesn't (note that I'm not using the one that adjusts firearm ammo capacity). What I did to "fix" the issue was rename this mod's 002 in the file name to 100, and any mods I assuming to conflict to have a number lower than 100 in its pak file name. IDK why but in my case, it ended up making the throwables/deployables cap to be 2000 instead of 1000. Not sure why.

God this mod is such a pain in the ass to get to work. I'm not blaming the mod author, but the gamedevs for how the game's coding works. I tried making a capacity mod myself, thinking "maybe the mod author's using code before the dlc". Nope. My own mod was facing the same issue.

Yeah so what I've learn about this mod is:
-While it technically works on existing saves, only medical consumables are affected.
-If you want the whole deal, you have to start a new game or new game plus for the other values to get working.
-If you're using multiple mods, you gotta test every one of your mods and see if there's any possible conflicts. I tested out my mods with horde assault and starting a new game. I do both because I had instances where this mod works as intended on horde assault but not on a new game. Make sure this mod loads last in load order.
-If you only have this mod installed, started a fresh new game, and this mod still doesn't entirely work... IDK, still try changing the 002 in its name to 100? Maybe that might work?
-If not, IDK man. Delete the DaysGone folder in %localappdata% > local folder? Make sure there's no .uasset files in the %localappdata% > BendGame > Saved > Cooked folder (if it exists)? Try verifying game files? Uninstalling + reinstalling the game? Pray to the machine spirit?

Man, the lengths I went to be a hoarding pack rat in this game....

EDIT: Aaaaand I found out that the crafting components ain't working in my main story save. And components don't carry over in NG+. Greeeeeaaaaaat.

EDIT AGAIN: Did a new game with permadeath mode with only this mod active. Was facing the same issue the other recent commenters made. Made a new game plus, and this mod is working as intended. If anyone knows how to get this mod working in permadeath mode, I'm all ears.

Are you guys playing on a new game / ng+ or permadeath? For me, the meds capacity always works regardless of the save and game mode. However, after for some numerous testing, It doesn't seem to work on Permadeath mode.

    Hi Exceteraviking!

After trying new game plus (Up the ante not applied) all modded values revert to default! Only healing items remain modded! Not even the optional file to disable up the ante completely didn't help!

Hmmm, I've not had this experience, I'm playing New Game+ now, and to be honest, it's working better now then when I played the game originally.  Originally, everything worked except SCRAP.  In my first play thru, I couldn't carry more than 20 Scrap.  But when I started New Game Plus, all the sudden I can carry a LOT of scrap, not sure how much cause I haven't reached the limit yet.  But I'm carrying well over 100 scrap right now.

The ONLY thing I can say that hasn't worked on either playthru (Normal, and NewGame+ Hard) is the Ammo.  I'm not getting 20x ammo capacity.  Everything else is working though.  At least that's my experience, I'm guessing it's other mods and load order that's causing your issue.  And probably it's what's causing my ammo issues too...but I'm just happy everything else works, so I can live without the extra ammo.

Hi Exceteraviking! Is your mod compatible with new game plus? Because Thunderalsso mod isn't

      Hi Duffy,

That was a big question, and it could be :/

I don't have time to fully answer you right know, but i'll do tomorrow.
In short for now, you can use it in new game + if in your old playthrought you didn't pick Up the Ante or something like that and maybe another one. I think it is all explained in the mod description section.

Ok, the mod works partially. Med supplies, ammo and throwables are like in the mod, but components are still like in vanilla game. I'm using your mod alongside The Hunter Gatherer, this one is not working so i'm gonna uninstall it and try again with yours only. I followed all instructions posted in the description.

Edit: I was reading Koniokrad88 comment so before deleting anything, I tried to make a new save on normal difficulty and everything works perfectly. Both mods are working and everything has a limit of 1000. Idk why, but on others difficulties, the mod doesn't work as it should.

You're not the only one to bring this to my attention. I really don't know why. The only cause I can see is another mod interfering with it.
If I understand correctly, the mod works perfectly when used with compatible mods and when starting a normal game, but all other difficulty levels break it partially or completely?

I only tried it on Hard, but I'm assuming that the other difficulties also break the mod. Maybe it's because higher difficulties alter the way resources spawn in the game. I don't really know.

Yes, the harder difficulties manage spawning in a different and much less generous way. But I wouldn't go so far as to say there's an effect on the quantity the character can carry. It will take a lot of time to collect items, that's for sure. Do you think it's because it's more complicated to see that the number of objects exceeds vanilla standards that you think the mod isn't working as expected?

I have no idea how to mod Days Gone, but maybe it's because some (or many) files change between difficulties. Or maybe the game accesses those files in a different way. I don't know how the files are structured in this game.

Oh, good news. So I'll have to download and compare the files involved to see if the update has any influence.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to do that right now, or any time soon. I'm particularly busy at the moment and for quite a while. I'll only have weekends, which by their nature are very limited in my country, which is falling apart economically. I'll have to go to the coalface XD

Don't worry, man. All of us have to set priorities sometimes, and a mod for a game isn't one of them.

as I unlocked a bigger inventory with my skills, the inventory mod started to work but it doesn't work for ammo yet so I'll probably have to unlock the ammo upgrade to make the mod work completely. but it doesn't work for everything on parts it probably won't be the only

      Hi Stormiiiik.
      What you say is interesting.
So you're talking about an update? I'm playing the gog version and these are the only files I have access to for info. and I'm not too much into the game at the moment. But never mind.

You say that for the mod to be fully functional, you need to unlock perks. That's a bit strange. I'd like you to confirm that you've done your tests and that your game has been restarted from the beginning. This is absolutely necessary for the mod to work 100%. Otherwise, you'll end up with only a few parts that work. From memory, ammunition and throwables (and possibly mines, traps and decoys) will remain in the vanilla state. No one has yet been able to tell me which situation works with the mod.

If not, have you looked in the other conversations here if you can't find a solution?
