Is it mandatory to change the sfpack name in the game location?
I'm putting mods and I think they all work for me without changing that name.

What is it really for or what can happen if I don't change it? And if I change it, does it change things in the game that can cause bugs in the story?

      +1 for other durability values (for example 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x).

      Thanks for the mod!

It's been noted elsewhere; But you may want update the description to say the suppressor durability values don't update in an existing game, until after you pick up a new suppressor from a vehicle, in the world. I tested it twice to confirm by reloading an earlier save. Even store purchased suppressors do not cause the mod to be enabled. It has to be picked up in the world to update the durability.

Hello, and you can make silencers with 20x strength, and then on machine guns even 10x silencers break quickly, thank you for your work)

I suggest reskin of those silencers. Like change the color to black or army green and even change the model to a normal silencer. Realistically speaking I cant imagine that there wont be some left in the world from before the freaks. I mean some guns in the game are pretty rare for US people, but yet there is not a single silencer left around. Thats pretty weird lol

The mod is working when installed. It only shows 100% but lasts a lot longer then vanilla. When you uninstalled the mod with a suppressor already bought, your current suppressor has the modded durability but the game UI bugs out because it is more then 100% so it shows it has 1000%. When you buy a new suppressor it will be back to vanilla durability.

I installed it on a game I already started. Didn't work. I started a new game and the first suppressor I got had increased durability. I suspect a new game is required for the mod to work. I haven't confirmed this fact, but it seems to be the case.

Why do I feel so brain-dead? When you say "Placed pak file in AppData\Local\BendGame\Saved\Paks" that to me states you have placed a Pak file in that path (please keep in mind I have severe ADHD and tend to read things very VERY literally) and so, the only step that given to me in your description here is to add an s to "sfpaks" to make it "sfpakss".

Btw I hope the way I word things doesn't seem rude or mean, I would just like to know where to put your file named "500-OPSuppressor_P.pak". Because looking at my path "C:\Users\SupaB\AppData\Local\BendGame\Saved" the only folders I have in here is:

    "76561199098217737"
    "Config"
    "Logs"

I don't have a Paks folder in my Saved folder. Idk, maybe I'm overthinking it like I usually do... My best guess is to simply put your folder into the saved folder and then it will look like this:

    C:\Users\SupaB\AppData\Local\BendGame\Saved

    "76561199098217737"
    "Config"
    "Logs"
    "500-OPSuppressor_P.pak"

Is this how to do it? LOL

Orrrrrrr do I create a Pak folder inside my Saved folder to put these types of mods in?
So it would look like this:

      C:\Users\SupaB\AppData\Local\BendGame\Saved

      "76561199098217737"
      "Config"
      "Logs"
"Paks" <----------- This is where I put the Op Boot Knife, Suppressor, etc Mods in?

      End product?
      C:\Users\SupaB\AppData\Local\BendGame\Saved\Paks
      500-OPSuppressor_P.pak
      500-OPKnife5x_P.pak
And obviously, as long as I add an "S" to "sfpaks" to make "sfpakss" then that should be it, right?

Dude your the best. I knew I wasn't crazy. I believe I got everything working the way it should. Thanks once again for your quick response. Love to see it to here on Nexus. I've seen other people thanking you for the same thing so I think I speak for us all when I say that it is so relieving to get your questions answered so quickly! Because most of the time we are all trying to figure the problem out the moment we send these questions, idk.. it's just so f***ing helpful and I love when mod authors are this involved. Btw, I've downloaded all your mods for this game and your doing God's work my food. Lol, peace and love!

When Nexus asked if I wanted to donate after I endorsed your mods it redirected to Paypal and displayed an error. So I couldn't donate to you. So other than just maybe having an alternative donation link or figuring out why it's not working, I have no complaints!

Now I don't know how far you can take the mods seeing how this game just recently came out for the PC so I'm sure everything is still trial and error... But I would personally like to know if it's possible to increase the "Zoom In" when aiming any regular gun other than snipers that have their own scope view of course. It's kinda like Gta5 in 3rd person and you have your regular aim view when aiming and then you can press (I use a PS4 controller so for me, it's R3 I think) R3 or whatever and it zooms in just a little more. Ide love to see that as a mod and also a new reticle that's a very small low opacity dot, but I realize I'm a dreamer. Lol

I know the modding scene for this game is fairly new so I understand if that isn't in the cards for the time being. Thanks again my guy, and LMK about that donation link!

Man.. I can relate to you so well with this. Lol My ADD/ADHD is an absolute nightmare with things. I take everything literally as well. lmao
The first solution worked. Without created a paks folder I mean. I dropped it right into the Saved and it worked. Thanks!

I read every comment but it's not clear whether you had to make a paks folder or not. Can someone post clear and concise installation instructions?

      EDIT:

      After looking at several different mods I found good instructions. Here is are instructions provided by Navsigda;

      Step 1:
      Go to:
      C:\Users\<Your username>\AppData\Local\BendGame\Saved\
      Step 2:
Inside the Saved folder, create a new folder and name it "Paks" without the quotation marks,

      Step 3:
Place the .pak file from the mod into the Paks folder.

      Step 4:
Go to your game install directory:
      Days Gone\BendGame\Content

      Step 5:
Inside the Content folder you'll have a several folders. Look for the folder called sfpaks and add an (s) to it >> (sfpakss).

      Step 6:
      All done :)
