For those who're wondering, if you have the mod "no trust issues" this mod doesn't work, for some reason...really hope they fix this

Not really. From the story's perspective, Manny is suppose to rebuild his bike to the same standard as his original, meanwhile there's this thing called ludonarrative dissonance and forces the gameplay to lock the best upgrades behind the late game camps.

Does it ruin the balance? Sure, the intended one, but it's as about as lore accurate as you can get while also being fair and realistic tbh.

I can confirm that as of 30th May 2024 this mod works perfectly smooth as intended. There were no instructions on how to install this mod in the description so if this is the first mod you are installing, you might find it difficult. You can use some kind of manager if you want, but I think the easiest way is just a straight manual install.

    1. Navigate to where you installed your game. It will likely be in steamapps>common. As an example my exact address was this ---> E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Days Gone\BendGame\Content
    2. In the "Content" subfolder, you will find two folders that should already be there. They are called "sfpaks" and "Paks" they would have been installed by default with the game.
    3. Rename the "sfpaks" folder to anything else you want. I renamed mine to "blanksfpaks"
    4. Manual download the files for this mod. It should just be a zip file. When you unzip the file, there should be a folder called "Paks" and within that folder there should be a file called "500-Best_Manny_001_P.pak"
    5. Copy the file named as "500-Best_Manny_001_P.pak" and paste it into the "Paks" folder mentioned in step 2.

And that's it. It should work fine. I don't know what the reason is for renaming the "sfpaks" folder, but that's what other mods require you to do and that's what some comments on this thread said you should do so that's what I did and I can personally confirm 100% that it works.

From then you just start the game and at Copeland's camp Manny should have all the upgrades you could want. I just got the best engine and maxed out pretty much everything. I love mods and I'm so glad this game came to PC.

Hope these instructions will be helpful.

Works fine. Just make sure to rename your 'sfpaks' folder to something like 'sfpakss' as well.

Mind you to get to this you need to go to your local files. For Steam you right click the game, go to "manage" then "browse local files" then in the files you need to go to
DaysGone/BendGame/Content and rename sfpaks to sfpakss

Extract the pak file to " Days Gone\BendGame\Content\Paks " in the main game archive.
