Well, I was gonna try to upload the experimental Preset "V2 NAR", But as soon as I hit upload. In-game I traveled to an area that looked just too unpleasant to release. so that's now on the shelf until I can truly make it work. & last time I tried regularV2 files didn't work too well with his config. So if you do try his config, Back up your old FIles to easily switch back.
I'm using both. Had to make a few adjustments to exposure, contrast, and brightness... but after some tweaking it looks beautiful and the dark areas look great. Using the latest NAR v1.05 with Days Gone Reshaded V2 1.0.5 and the normal ini from DGRV2.
EDIT: I adjusted mostly the exposure, contrast, and brightness located in the PD80_04_Contrast_Brightness_Saturation under 'Final Adjustments' and 'Final Adjustments: Far'.
I'm reluctant to share files. I'm overly cautious on the net he he he
But, I'll share pics of the settings I changed and some screens of the different periods throughout the day. Keep in mind these settings look good on my screen, but your screen will have a different calibration.
You can make the nights darker, but at the cost of making days darker too. I wanted to show you what the days look like with a storm, but I gave up after waiting for 30 minutes. But, storms look great and are dark and gloomy. I feel I reached a good balance of having bright days and darker nights. To each is own though.

So,I just created a detailed tutorial video on how to install a Reshade. I`ve done this, since many of my downloaders dont know how to do so. I experienced that media is easier to consume than reading an instruction,so I thought I might share this video on different Reshades. Maybe you (the Mod creator) wants to pin it or add it to video section, for easier access :) If you dont like the video, feel free to delete this post :)
the home button doesnt work for me? honestly i dont think its working for me at all. i dragged and dropped it into the correct folder and it still isnt helping. Any solutions?
After Dragging & Dropping Files, FInd & Click to Edit my "ReShade.ini" File.

Really wish I had a more fulfilling Response, But the Only troubleshot method I really know of, I posted just below. However even with doing that method Idk if it will change anything.
These Issues or errors I've never encountered before & can't recreate to test.
Not sure what I am doing wrong but it just will not work for me. All files are in the correct place but still nothing. If someone can give a detailed step by step I'd appreciate that greatly
I recently learned this could be a decent troubleshoot method, I'll explain below. Can't say It will solve the problem but I believe it's worth a shot. Make sure all of my files are in the proper Game Directory. Try Heading to Reshade.me Download the Reshade software.

Make a duplicate Preset to Edit
To learn what Filter is the issue for you Untick Filters 1 by 1 (So Untick>Observe>RE-tick>Repeat with next filter)
Once you Identified the culprit since you've made a duplicate you can feel free to play around with that Filters, settings down below. (If you need help with particular settings First find out which one it is by unticking, then let me know the name of it)
First of all, thank you very much for the mod. I have just endorsed you!
I'm very much the same! Game looks orange and has graphics and shadow bugs in the first "Days Gone" title screen (the one before the bike and menu). The culprit is all the color and tint, and especially the third prod80 filter. Sadly, it is this third Prod80 filter that makes the game dark, but adjusting the tint you can get the colors close to normal. However, orange and red get mixed up, and me being an accurate color guy, I cannot use this mod in default format (messes up the image too much). With couple of the filters it will still make it look less blueish, but the effect of real darkness isn't there due to far brightness settings.
Need to keep tuning! I hope I can get this working, as the atmosphere of the game completely changes with the darkness.
