Thank you for making this FOV mod. Would you please consider making one a little closer to the camera than your 300 mod? Somewhere in between max options 100 and the 300 mod.
First let me say thank you for taking the time to work on my request. Thank you!
I loaded up your FOV 150 mod and it took me a moment to realize what had changed...because Deacon was still the same size...it was the trees that moved further away. Then I loaded up your FOV 300 mod and saw that Deacon and the trees/surroundings moved further away from the camera. That's what I was looking for...but something not as much as your FOV 300 mod, where Deacon and surroundings move further from the camera than the max FOV 100 in the settings.
Here's a few screenshots showing FOV 100, 150 and 300...plus I took the 300 screenshot and added a red circle...which indicates about the FOV I'm looking for if Deacon's right foot is on the red circle. Figured that might better illustrate my request.
Open one of the .uasset files with AssetEditor. In the screenshot I'm using BendPlayerCamBush.uasset as the example. Keep in mind, this is just one of several files extracted from the PAK file. I had to edit most, but not all of them. Just be sure to package all the files, edited or not, when you build the new PAK file.
On the left, expand Code Blocks...then click on Block 2: None to show the rows of Properties.
Whichever Property you need to edit, just click in the appropriate field under the Value1 header column and make your change.
That's really all there is to it, but here's a tip...
Be sure after you make your last change that you click in some other field so it registers that last change. Maybe hitting the return key would have done it too, but here's what happened to me. I typed in 200 in the three fields shown in the picture, and then saved the file. When I opened the file again, only the first two fields had 200 in them, the other was still 300...because I guess the app hadn't registered that last entry because the field was still considered "open" or in edit mode when I saved the file...I don't really know.
thanks for the tips i'm planning to edit Bike FoV uses On Foot FoV i prefer the max Fov on foot but the Fov on bike is too close on this mod is like 100 on foot then 60 on bike my goal is to adjust the bike fov to 75 or 80 to see the whole bike, i don't like the max default fov on bike it's too far that's why im gonna edit this mod, well wish me luck and tyvm :)
EDIT: i don't know why i keep saving the file but changes won't save, i tried both save and save as but after opening the edited uasset the changes i made didn't save, i already click on other columns to make sure that nothing is open..oh well at least now i know how to edit the problem is how to save it hahah..tnx again.
lokag86, Yes 200 turned out to be just the distance I was looking for. I've been running and gunning with it ever since I made the edits to your file. I know, like you said, it's not a big difference from 150 to 200, but it was enough to pull the camera back from Deacon a little, but not too much. It's right where I like it. So thanks for your FOV files. It allowed me to see what I needed to change, cuz it would have taken me a lot longer to figure it out.
Hay nice mod, would be cool if i knew how to install it, making pak folder in the appdata didn't work. The only two other mods i have installed are no hud and disable start up movie logos

Probably better to do a manual install, I find those kind of installers goof up a lot.
To Install: 1) Create a folder named "Paks" in C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\BendGame\Saved *Note: AppData is a hidden folder 2) Extract the contents of the mod rar file to the "Paks" folder you just created. 3) In (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Days Gone\BendGame\Content) rename sfpaks to sfpakss.

Again, thank you! I have much respect for modders and all they do to improve a game and then share with the rest of us.
All of the edits took place under Code Blocks --> Block 2: None
Is that all I needed to do, or is there anything other than changing 300 to 200 I need to change?
Thank you so much for providing your mod as the framework that allowed me to make this change. I'll take a look at your other mods too.
