PSA: Instead of renaming the entire sfpaks folder located in \Days Gone\BendGame\Content\ rename only the startuppackages.pak to startuppackages_modsenabled.pak inside it.
Doing so should result in the following: - Vanilla-like loading times - More stable gaming experience (massive performance boosts in large areas for some users.)

The file implies it increases US556 ammo storage capacity. I was really hoping to get 2 more spare mags or something from this to compensate for the increase in fire rate/decrease in damage. Did I do something wrong in the download or is it not in here?
some of the Redux weapons alter the carrying/storage capacities. By consistent I mean that with the optional compatibility patch those changes will still be applied. If you use both the PPSh-41 & M1921AC Thompson Redux for example, then one of them will overwrite the file that alters the capacities.
The included patch avoids this issue as it includes the edits for all affected Redux weapons. Hopefully that makes sense. You could also use the Merged Version but that only includes certain variants and may not be to your personal liking.
Thank you for the answer man. So am I right to asume that if I only have us566 redux I don't need this patch? Also I would love to know how to mod this game. Weapons fire rate in this game is just complete nonsense. Your a4m1 is the closest to something even remotely similar. Also melee weapons are also complete mess...I mean machete is stronger than a sledgehammer...yeah right. So maybe you could point me in the right direction in regards to moding this...a guide or something. Is it very complicated?
Of course. No worries. You are correct: When only using the US556 Redux there's no need for any patches. About that other thing I can only say one thing: Please consider joining our Discord at Days Gone Modding [PC]. We're pretty active and if I can help you with the creation of "Immersive Melee Weapons", I'll gladly do that. It's not hard but a bit of a diligence sometimes. It's only tweaking certain values for the most part and testing how those then translate into the game.
