So if I'm using both files I'm assuming I will need the main file first then the "2x Tire Speed" second correct? Because my thing is I only really like tire 2 because of the width on that bad boy, and with the "2x Tire Speed" mod (because I'm running the "2x engine speed" mod) only working for the tier 3 tires it leaves out my favorite tire and my stats for the tire reflect that. So with your main mod "Equal Tires", where does it need to go in the load order for it to equal out after the "2x tire speed" mod buffs the tier 3 tires? Am I making any sense? Because my game right now shows a huge leap in the traction stats immediately after tire 2. I was assuming the load order should be like : 1.) 2x Tire Speed 2.) Equal Tires <------This IS the order I have in my mod-list btw, do I need to switch?
That way, it will do the buffing to account for the "2x engine speed" mod, and then it would check the newly buffed tier 3 tires and apply that stat to all tires, the only issue I'm rubbing into is that the equaling part isn't happening for the default tire or my tires (Tire 2). And if it is I don't see it reflected on the stat bar, and if that's simply the way the mod works, then I'd greatly appreciate it if you could just affirm this so I know it's working, thanks bossman!
Well as far as load order goes, there isn't any needed, the 2 mods edit different files. Your stat screen should basically look like the screenshots (those are first 2 tires) if not then probably not working. You might have other mods installed, or not installed correctly. I'll recheck on my side to make sure all files are in order.
Nope, Traction Control mod is fully compatible my Tire mods. My guess is it has nothing to do with compatibility, and possible an installation problem. Test first just "Equal Tires" without any other mod, if the stats don't change in the game then the mod isn't working on its own.
A guess here is that the game update broke mods by recreating the 'sfpaks' folder, so go to Bendgame\Content\ and if you see both sfpaks & sfpakss folder, then yeah delete the old sfpakss (with double ss) then rename sfpaks folder by re-adding an s or anything at the end.
Yeah, I re-changed the sfpaks after the update after I noticed that all my mods weren't working. I'll try just using equal tires and let you know what happens. I do know that apparently it only changes the top speed right? And the bike is unquestionably fast so Idk, maybe it's working without the stats reflecting it correctly? Ill let you know what I find.
Yeah, it was an error on my end, I figured it out. I must've been tired or something when downloading and instead of unpaking the file I just drug it into the PAK folder like a dummy.
Are you able to actually change anything in the game ? like making the tyres with even more traction ? like on rails ? it would go great with 2 x engine speed, the tyres even end game just can't keep up with the speed.
This mod doesn't edit any values it just points all tires to use Tier3 stats (whatever they are). But I do know where the stat files are and I do know the files that affect global traction for each road type. So I think I can do that. How much of a change should I try for?
Edit: Ok I put up an optional file that doubles the top speed of the tires (The tire upgrades in this game don't seem to really improve traction, just increase the top speed the tires can handle I think)
I tested with the 2x Engine Speed mod, it stops the wheel from spinning in place at high speeds but the bike was still drifty. Let me know if this works well or needs more tweaking, I only tested it for a short time. I'll update it based on feedback and might move it to a separate mod page to avoid confusion.

Hmmm, could this mod be conflicting? "Bike_Traction Control - Road Warrior"
I'm pretty sure this could be my issue...

one question, could you do the same with gas tanks?
because I've been looking for something like that.
I would appreciate your help
