    Wonderful work on this collection mate, the dark gods smile upon you with this tribute to them!

    One question tho. Is it possible to edit the armor default sga files for PVP Chaos Lord and Warboss to work for campaign also, so their armor appearance stays the same no matter what ingame armor you equip? Like the Epic and EpicImmortal armor appearances for Chaos Lord or Warboss FreebooterEpic and Freebooter Legendary armor for example? The progressive sgas like Araghast helmet and Immortal armor addon is welcome, but it would be great for him to have these campaign options on top of the ones they have, Araghast helmet and all. Same also with campaign Warboss if possible.

      Its very possible. I just realized that I think I left that out. I can't remember why. I can do it, since its fairly simple to do.

      But its gonna take a while. I planned to take a considerable break from DOW2 modding and discord for a few months. I've been taking people's requests here and there, and its slowly affecting me. This mod is amazing, but its impossible for me to satisfy everyone and account for every wargear appearance and option. I'd go mad. So, I'm gonna take my time, at least until I finish up to version 1.00 of this visual collection and I'm satisfied. 

      Alternatively, you can find the DOW2 modding server and do it for yourself too. I actually recommend learning how. Its really fun and empowering once you get the hang of it and there are people there who are able to help you out too!

      No problem man, your work so far has been astounding. I've been tinkering with every hero and unit appearance for a while and i've managed to edit almost all the units bar the Chaos Lord and Warboss, hence why i asked you about them having armor defaults in campaign as well (Kinda sad i can't use the DLC armor appearances for campaign like Ultrasmurfs and Word Bearer Chaos Lord, but what can you do *shrug*). But yeah, these kind of projects can take their toll after a while, so i understand the need to take a break, freshen up and take your time for the comeback.

      Believe me, i'd want to, but i have WAY too much on my plate irl to have spare time to learn about editing DOW2 sga files to the specs that i want, so all my prayers are for your hasty comeback :D

      Hey man. I'll be working on a smaller release soon-ish. Both for the Chaos Lord (Campaign) and Kaptin Bluddflagg. I've checked and its not as difficult as I thought (just tedious).

    Mods seem to work with DoW2 & CR pretty well, missing assets for the skull on the Classic Armor & neck addons, but those were likely part of Retrib. & not in base game & CR, right?

      You're absolutely correct. Its why I didn't make this mod compatible with Retribution though. Need to import the textures for those assets (though I have an idea on how to do it faster now that you mention it... though it might be better to do the long way though.. if I ever get to it). 

      Btw, if you see anymore issues for other races, do let me know!

      Easiest way I imagine to fix it would be to include the textures in the sga file, redundant for Retribution, but would fix it for base & Chaos Rising; no big deal if that's too much to ask. Keep it up!

      - SM_PowerArmour_Armour_Gabriel_Gen_Redux
      - SM_Apothecary_Armour_ImprovedNoCloth_Gen_Redux (and cloth variant)

      Would love for a fix for these two. <3

    Great mod, but I dont seem to be able to get it to work for the base game/chaos rising. I have the GOG version of DOW2/Retribution and when installing it for Retribution, it doenst work for base/chaos rising. Any help directing would be appreciated.
    1. Hey man, I've been away due to burnout from modding.

      Let me try to help. Doesn't matter for which version of the game (Steam or GoG).

      At your Dawn of War 2 / Dawn of War II - Retribution folder
      1. Go to your GameAssets file (eg: .../Dawn of War II - Retribution/GameAssets..
      2. Create a new folder and rename it exactly as "Mods"
      3. Download the mod files and extract them.
      4. Then just place any .sga files into the "Mods" folder.

      Hope it helps. Btw, to anyone else reading. I'll be away for a long time. Don't know when I'll be back to mod and release a new update. So, pls read the instructions as I've already included it all here, and if there's bugs.. just post them here! Thank you.

    Very badass mod my friend, thank you. The Warboss with all possible wargears stuffed into him (including the unique pole) is indeed an animal. Is there any way to make this one work with the Vengeance of the Blood Raven mod?

      Thank you! Unfortunately, I don't have the time, energy and motivation to make a separate AoW for VoR. It can be done though, but it'll take a lot of time. 
  5. While playing the original DOW2 / CR campaign using my mod, I noticed some purple pink colour, meaning missing textures.
    - Tyranid Hive Tyrant
    - Ork Nobz Sword
    - Ork Warboss legendary

    I'll do a scan before the next patch. Let me know if you see any missing assets on your side that I've not listed down.

    Hello, I just wanted to point out that the helmets/heads with capes for the FC Aramus in the normal campaign/CR are not working.
    There is a bug that stretch the cape into the ground.
    Also, because in the campaign the FC share the same armor as the normal space marine, All the FC armor mods are not working. ( only Davian Thule
    seems to be affected)

    Other than that, I think the conversion worked pretty well for the vanilla game. You did a good job thank you.

      I don't think I can do anything about it, as that's due to the coding of the base game, and my mod doesn't interfere with that.
      I just wanted to point out that the helmets/heads with capes for the FC Aramus in the normal campaign/CR are not working.

      For the FC armor, I was thinking maybe replacing the entire model with Davian Thule or Diomedes one to make it work (in a very brute force kind of way) but I don't know if it possible in a mod format.

      Also, glad that the helmet/head can be work on at least. (maybe add a devastator separated file so Avitus can have a helmet maybe ?)

      For the discord, I'm not very active on it but maybe I will go check it out if I have the time.

      I'm a bit confused as to what you want. 

      If I understand correctly, you want your Force Commander Aramus to be changed to that of Davian Thule or Diomedes? Its actually possible (I just found out by accident), and I actually already made them. 

      In Space Marines Helmets and Heads .. Force Commander Aramus (Elite), those files are actually able to change your Force Commander's head and they include capes already too. But I think there will be problems when you equip say the jetpack. I think the head model is different, but we'll see when it comes to that.

      I just read this. 

      1. You can replace the head rather easily with either Diomedes or Thule, no issue. 

      2. However, the armour is going to be a huge problem and I don't think I can tackle it. Reason being, the Force Commander's armour is coded accordingly to follow Power Armour Common, Rare and Epic (in addition to his cool armour like the Commander or Gabriel Armour). The other Space Marine models use the Common, Rare and Epic versions.

      If I were to replace Power Armour Common, Rare or Epic for FC, then you're gonna see the regular space marines getting Force Commander armour XD. Then would break the immersion. Sorry though. I hope this helps to explain.

    Hello! I found some issues when mix and matching.
    - The Karskin Elite files seem to not be independent as I get models with Purple helmets (the SgtB file version)
    - Similar case seem to be with leg pads in Campaign Marrick (file ending with ...Epic_Gen_Redux - I assume it might be using texture from Elite Karskin but I no modder.)
    1. Thanks for bringing them up and specifying which exact ones. The huge problem with maintaining. for a separate mod that is constantly changing / evolving is that after I stop, they change file paths etc. When I was testing them before, I remember they work good. 

      Unfortunately, this recent update was just me doing some fixing and adding a little bit of stuff.

      I strongly recommend, giving modding a try! Its a lot simpler than most people think.

      Thank you for response.
      I did in past tinkered a bit with both Dawn of War games, but since my recent harddrive death I feel very reserved about looking again for the tools to do such.
      I never did though much work with actual models (the most I got was in Warcraft 3 and it was limited to adding / changing textures to models) so I'm fully quite green.
      I will probably do so eventually, as I do like ducktape "fixing" mods to my preferences

    4. Hi man. I think its an issue on my end for all the Elite Kaskrin for the stormtrooper replacement. I'll push a fix for it in a few days. 

      Edited: Fixed! Check V9926!

      For the leg pads, I haven't checked yet. Sorry about that. It might take a while for me to get into it.

    6. Btw, if you can get a screenshot of the Campaign Merrick's pink leg pads, that would be really helpful. I keep wondering from where. All good for the Elite Kaskrin for me.

  8. I'm aware there's something wrong with the guardsmen using lasguns for Elite Mod. I wonder if its to do with the new animations from Grantovich that was recently added.

    Will try to get a fix for it, but for now, don't use these files:

    IG_Guardsmen_Head_ImprovedHead_Gen_Elite
    IG_Guardsmen_Head_ImprovedHead&SgtMerrick_Gen_Elite.sga


    And perhaps others.. 
    1. Okay, figured out what the problem was. I made a fix for it. Funny enough, I only realized this when I was modding some stuff. I had to get the animations from Elite Mod (which includes Grantovich's stuff and had to edit some stuff as it affected the plasma gun thing I had. The rest thankfully seem good to go too). Will post in the next update. 
    2. Pushed the update. All fixed now.

    Hi, I tried the mod but some armor parts appear purple, like showing a missing texture. What am I doing wrong?
    1. Hmmm, if some armour parts appear purple, it means that some texture files that it references are missing. You need to make sure certain files must be included in together, else some would be missing. I made sure that most of the files wouldn't have this issue.
