agreed, flipped the map 5 times, five resets and still no ore, no nodes, and very little flint. if your going to use this map, better over produce food and use it as a trade resource for metals.
Same, i have no idea how to install manually and i do not want to use a manager to install. But i see people are complaining that it does not work as well.
Installation is fairly simple: Extract into your Mods folder. Need Unity Mod Manager to work, like it says in the description. However, having just tested it, it DOES work but lack of actual mountains means lack of metal deposits. So overall not worth using currently.
Since the January update this breaks new games. No resources or homes spawn even if you pick "settled" and on nomadic you just have people with no tools
When I use this, it creates corrupt saves. Not sure if it is this mod, or a conflict with other mods, but when I remove this mod, it is no longer a problem. The only other mods I have are Activity Manager, Hardcore Pause and Better Camera.
Could you by any chance just add a little more hill/mountain, so it's possible to have some ore deposits spawn in as well? I really appreciate the abundance of flat, but it kinda kills a crucial part of the game.
Wonderful idea for a mod, but needs a bit of tweaking.
Very nice map. However, Tin is very scarce. Found one way over on the edge of the map. Villagers kept dying on the trek to mine tin. Lost 20 villages in the first season. Other than the scarce tin the map is great.
Awesome mod. Really needed more flat build areas. I do have one problem though, I can't load any save while using this mod. Tried saving with it on and without and still could not get it to load. Appreciate any help and knowledge you can share. Cheers
I have the same problem, but I've figured out a solution. When you run the game try to create new game on the map you have chosen previously. Do it until the map is similar to the previous one and then load your game. It works for me.

Of course, there was a major update recently.
