I love your mods. I miss the HD texture pack that you had, though. I had to format my hard drive and then felt bummed that it has been set to hidden. Will you be making it available again in the future?
Awesome mod! I always thought the remastered resting effect was way to "strong". I must say I would prefer to see the effect a bit more. Can you easily alter the opacity? Or could I easily do it myself?
I see. What's VS used for in texturing? I was accidentally opening yours and was wondering why it was just a grey texture. Though my PS or plugin was broken. Also wont you see enemies dissapear when you rest and respawn? I was trying to make the original more transparent but the game wasnt reading my alpha channels for what ever reason.
You will see enemies despawn and respawn while resting but I don't personally see that as a bad thing, it was visible in every souls game up to the remaster.
The Intel Texture Works Plug-in for Photoshop will allow you to open, edit and save DDS-format images. It allows you save the images in all formats that Dark Souls Remastered uses (BC1, BC3, BC5, BC7), so you don't need another program to save the images correctly. It seems better than NVIDIA's plug-in.
Nice texture mod, but why are there so many textures included with the download? It seems like s61409.dds is the only texture that is relevant to this mod, but there's 11 other files included with the download.
The s61409.dds texture is also the wrong format, which slows down the texture replacement program, and degrades the image more than is necessary. If you can't save the file in the correct format because you don't have Photoshop then you could at least have Texture Packer and Unpacker convert it for you and only include the converted texture in the download.
Thankyou for letting me know, I actually zipped the wrong file in my rush to get it up last night. It's is an sfx file from my workspace not a completed one. Fixing now.
