I'm also curious what are the map edits lost from merging both mods together and using your patch. At first I thought that means the custom bonfire locations added by AoS are lost but I've played for a bit until Blighttown and all of the new bonfires I'm able to find so far are still intact.
I think the modded placements in new locations are lost. Unless I did something wrong, I'm unable to find the Executioner's Blade (in Stray Demon's Arena) as well as the Divine Stone placed at the Sunlight Alter (kind of f*#@ing up my build, but whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). Not really worth it if you can't get the NEW stuff IMO
@SimplyHoodie You're correct. I stood in front of the corpse with Executioner's Greatsword in Stray Demon's arena and it's gone if I switch to AoS + Re-Remastered combo and load the same save. With AoS alone it's back again.
Losing custom items added by AoS should be added in the description for clarity. I'll go back to using AoS by itself now. A shame really.
Hi, I tried this patch but when launching the game through the .bat provided b the Re-Remastered mod the game won't launch (the command prompt appears briefly before disappearing without errors), I tried using a powershell window and it returns a "couldn't find path to game" error in the console window.
