Grass Crest Shield "Dark Abyss Goddess" re-texture

Re-textures Grass Crest Shield into depicting Manus, Dusk & a beast (?) in colors of Abyssal Dark Blue and Dusk Gold.

So, I loved this original mod by GarouD for Dark Souls 1 and spent a lot of time educating myself on the basics of modding.
Result is not good but functional. I'm posting this in hopes of someone who knows how to mod takes it and improves it.

Installation

Simply copy the contents of the folder "0.9" into your "parts" folder (the one located in the DSR folder, in a path looking somewhat like "
C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DARK SOULS REMASTERED\parts")

UPDATE TO VISUAL ISSUES OF V 0.9

The issue has somewhat been fixed, needs some testing but the glare making the image worthless is gone. I have added
two variations of the fix, pick the one to your liking. They're not perfect but they're okay.

Check images, but here are the two good variations available:

Variation "No Bumpmap"
May look a bit dull and non-shiny/reflective but won't have any issues with AA, only some visual problems when not held up.

Variation "Original Bumpmap"

Looks more lively and shiny, in most angles but under specific angles and AA setting may have some glowing line patterns showing. No other issues despite having the original yellow bumpmap of the crest shield.

The Problem

Check "Images" to see for yourself, what may seem obviously problematic to me may be fine to another or what I mention as just not good may seem unplayable to another.
The problem seems to be with how the textures "sit" on the model, maybe the "specular" .dds, cause the image is somewhat darker than it's supposed to, some model lines can be seen when you move around and the lightning feels a bit off, darker at times and with glowy points at others. Also, some dark vertical lines in the lower half of the shield can be seen.
EDIT:
Anti-Aliasing being off worsens the problem.

Credits

All the hard work was put in this by GarouD and Justin Hernandez whom GarouD attributed as creator in his original post.
Justin Hernandez used this design to enter the Shield Design contest and the design is all his as you can see here. (The "Bloodshield" design was eventually the winner design, which was added to Dark Souls first installment)
I do not own anything of these.

What I did

I didn't know much about creating/editing mods until now.
First I downloaded a random Grass Crest Shield to see what the name of the texture the game uses to "read" its appearance.
I used Yabber to open the .dcx file, the .partsbnd file and the .tpf file. In the tpf folder I replaced the original .dds files with the .png's from GarouD's mod which I first converted into .dds using paint.net and GIMP.
I also spent some time using the flveditor, trying to see why the .flver file was reading the previous textures, only to find out it was because it was reading the .tpf file and not the newly-changed tpf folder. I packed everything back with Yabber and voila.

The final solutions was completely deleting the bumpmap file which took the glare away from the shield's pattern and the other solution keeping the original yellow bumpmap of the shield from FromSoft devs.

Thank you for taking time to try it, hope you enjoy it! Praise the sun! \[T]/
