Some things are definitely ban-free, lol. Stop scaring new players. It's like the morons on the Steam discussions trying to scare players into thinking that any mod will get you banned, when that's not the case at all. Both DS3 and DS:R will not ban you for basic mods like texture, animation or sound mods, because neither game checks any of those files. Only memory manipulation is instantly detected in both games and messing with certain params like item IDs, bonfires and other values. A randomizer will always get you banned, big titty mod won't.
Actually, @nomorevideos , you can get banned for those, I've been banned for something as little as an emote animation change, they will check your files if theyre modified. Although I'm 70% sure this mule pack wouldnt cause a ban.
Seems like this mod hasn't been updated because there are still a lot of bonfires missing from warp and I have to go find and light them. Hopefully this gets fixed because this is a great mule. Ty for this save file
Yes...by reading the instructions on how to install this file included in the description. But I'll spell it out for you anyway.
Go to Documents\NBGI\DARK SOULS REMASTERED. You'll find at least one folder with a random string of numbers, one for each local Steam Profile. Inside that folder will be a file called "DRAKS0005.sl2" which is your save file. Make a backup of that "DRAKS0005.sl2" then replace it with the one you downloaded here. To go back to your original save, restore the backup.
instructions unclear. If i may have it dumbed down and in more gritty detail. In the string of number folder i am creating a new "backup" subfolder, then dragging the drak file into the backup subfolder. then im launching dark souls with no successful change whatsoever. ):
June 1st update Ver1 contains no estus flask, or mine disappeared
edit: V2 seems to lack it as well, and killing Oscar did not drop estus EditEdit: Found them in V3- I guess i missed it the whole time -_-, my bad thank for the mule its good
