I'm having trouble with the BND Rebuilder, when I try to rebuild the "GameParam.parambnd" file, it tells me that it can't find the "GameParam.bdt" file. That file doesn't seem to exist, and it does the same thing with the "GameParam.parambnd.dcx" file. This is on Dark Souls Remastered mind you, however I'm not sure if I should skip this step, and just rebuild the dvdnbd3* files or what, any help would be appreciated greatly!

The easiest modding tool to use in my opinion is this https://github.com/Meowmaritus/ParamVessel/releases.  Imo Wulf's tool's feel a bit awkward compared to this.

    I'm having a problem locating the dvdbnd3.bdt and dvdbnd.bhd5

I'm playing Dark Souls Remastered which I hope isn't a problem especially since the mod is listed under DSR, but the guides seem to correlate to Dark Souls PtDE, so I'm not sure if DSR doesn't have dvdbnd3 or I just don't have it and I need to get it somehow in order to create custom classes. If DSR doesn't have dvdbnd3 could you let me know of an alternative method?

From memory, I believe Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition has the dvdbnd3.bdt and dvdbnd.bhd5, and they need to be extracted by using a program called 'Yapped' which is currently located under 'Sekiro: Shadows die twice's' nexus mod page.

I think with Dark Souls Remastered, that you're currently trying to mod, dvdbnd3.bdt and dvdbnd.bhd5 are already extracted, meaning you should just be able to skip over that step in the guide, and go straight to finding msg, param and paramdef as folders easily located inside the Dark Souls Remastered directory.

If this isn't the case, or you can't find 'msg, param and paramdef', then please comment back and I'll try looking into it manually. I'm not known for my memory sadly.

Thanks you were right about dvdbnd already being extracted, everything is working fine for me now.

Hi and thank you for crediting me!

I have one suggestion about BND Rebuilder though: there is a better and more recent version released by horkrux that removes one step on the extraction process by extracting .dcx and .***bnd files at once : https://github.com/horkrux/DeS-BNDBuild/releases/tag/v3.02
