Soulscial Distancing v1.3 by ToasterCat
A deadly, incurable virus has recently swept through the land of Lordran. Those who survived the first wave, though now immune, are carriers. As a complete stranger with no immunity, the Chosen Undead must navigate the virus-plagued landscape. Keep six feet away from others at all times for your own personal safety.
Gameplay Changes
----------------
* Getting attacked or hit by any enemy or trap at melee range will inflict Toxic on the player.
* Attacking any enemy with a melee weapon will inflict Toxic on the player.
* Certain item descriptions and functions have been changed. There is no cure for this virus.
* Certain preventative gear and items are harder to find or non-existent due to hoarding in Lordran.
* Several merchants are closed indefinitely due to the virus.
Installation
------------
Note that this mod will only work with Dark Souls Remastered -- it will not function with Prepare to Die Edition. It will also not work properly with the Item Randomizer.
1. Download file and unpack it.
2. Create a back up of your Dark Souls Remastered file.
3. Set Steam and Dark Souls Remastered to offline to avoid ban. Keep in mind you risk a ban when using mods online, and it's easy to end up online accidentally if you're not paying a lot of attention to your settings.
4. Copy content of "DATA" folder to your Dark Souls Remastered folder and overwrite when prompted.
5. Launch Dark Souls via Steam.
