the new/remaster textures tend to look very washed out, sometimes almost completely losing the original look. a good example of this is the eastern set imo
-Still working with the latest version of the game.
-To install it you need the "DSR Texture Packer and Unpacker" tool.
-It is recommended to complement it with this other texture mod called "Ornstein Plume for Classic Armor Pack Textures", its installation is simple and is explained in the description of the mod.
-Just remember that if you have another mod that alters armor textures, you must delete the ".tpupbak" files in the "parts" folder, so that installing this mod will not cause errors.
-Thank you for bringing us this mod of classic textures, the new ones from the remaster look bad.
This happens when you are trying to overwrite a previously overwritten file in TPUP. When using multiple mods altering the same files, you need to restore the game back to original and combine the mods prior to using TPUP to repack.
I got this with DSR 2020 Remaster and several other mods. Had to restore whole game to stock, make a mod amalgamation with all the files I wanted overwritten then repack them in sub-3GB groups.
You can't overwrite modded files with modded files.
Absolutely broken - fatal error encountered with DSR Unpacker:

Before packing with TPUP, overwrite DSR 2020 files with these.

Something with this mod is broken.
Maybe post your CPU and OS flavors if you get it working so we can see the parameters for a successful install. I'd love to get this sorted.
