I have a tutorial in the videos section. Mainly what you need to do is: Use the UXM mod (you can find it on this site) to unpack and patch your DS3 game. There are tutorials for this on youtube. From there, you will have many different folders for DS3. One of them is called "parts". You can replace files in that folder to change in-game assets like armor. You should absolutely make a backup of any files that you change in these folders so you can revert back if you don't like how your mods turn out.
