    I know I'm late to the party, but..... Purple & black and green & black would be even better visuals. Take the black flames and replace the white with purple and/or green. It will add contrast and make it look both more appealing. And more lore friendly. Just my two cents. It is good for what it is. I just think it could be even better. If I knew how to mod, I'd do it myself and keep my constructive criticism to myself.

    Hey, does this change the flames of enemies aswell, or just the player character? 
    Just wondering if I will be feeling special as a felflame user, or if I'll be hit with flaming green crossbow bolts from hollows, or shot with green fire from deacons etc

    wich of the 4 sfx files contains the weapon buffs effect ( like fire pine resin etc)
    I want the game to look as normal as possible, i want to change as little as possible and i guess i only need 1of those 4files for my purposes but wich one?
    I did install all and every fire/souls/footsteps everything is green and i want a normal looking game with green fire pine resin so wich file :P

    Is this compatible with Cinders? Im trying to and only the demon scar and floating chaos change. Am I doing something wrong? using UXM

      I can tell you why.
      Because im pretty sure cinders uses "custom new added" vfx ids that the mod uses, while like demon scar and floating chaos may be the only vfx ids that has not been replaced with new vfx ids. So i guess its not very compatible.

      That would make sense for the new pyros in cinders. I guess i thought the base game spells wouldve been unchanged. Any chances of anyone digging in cinders?

      I dont actually think so. Since this is already a mod that is supposed to give an entire new playthrough with their own magic purposes and stuff. And even if so, the creator would either have to do so, or someone else would need perms to do so.

    Heyhey, so I got the mod and UXM, patched the game with UXM, put the new files into the sfx folder and started the game but it crashes before I even get to the title screen. What am I doing wrong?

      Are you using any other mods? cuz i honestly have no idea why. Never occured to me tho.

    How can I switch the colors (using uxm)

      Just replace the sfx files

    i must be doing something wrong.

    Make an empty mod folder ( Called mod )
    Unpack DS3 with UXM
    Place all fire mods into the mod folder
    Patch game
    Run DS3 but no change what have I not done

    mods i do have installed:

    wexdust and honest merch

      Did you put both purple and green fire into the mod folder or something? if so, that wouldn't work, as you can only select of these mod folders at a time.

      Yea, I'm having the same problem as well. New to modding as well, so there might be something I'm doing wrong.
      Followed everything as instructed and nothing is happening.

      Ahhh f*#@, my bad, wrong information. You dont need a mod folder for using uxm. You just unpack everything into your game directory, then patch. Then put the fire mod sfx files into the sfx folder that you unpacked with uxm. Will update installation guide. I just never really used uxm, most likely modengine. Sry for wrong information.

      Thanks a bunch for getting back on this. Tried that instantly and worked like a charm. I'm used to using modengine. I'm trying out UXM because I was told it's easier and more user friendly when it comes to avoiding bannings. And so far, not too bad. Thanks again for the update and the mod itself. Will definitely recommend!

    I tried using the tool to change the ringed ss fx, but it doesn't seem to work. How abouts did you manage it?

      I actually have no idea. The only who knows is probably amir, as i tried changing the blue one to green, or purple. Since i couldnt find any solution, i simply replaced the vfx id from the trail with lorians ugs wa fire trail.

      No. If you use it with uxm, you should be 100% safe. And replying to your second question, you need to select one, as both arent possible.

      Im not sure, i dont really think so. Thats why i recommend using uxm. Cuz i know atleast that with uxm it is 100% safe to use.
