Lately I've been feeling like my texture mods seemed a little...off...despite the brightness/saturation changes I was making, the new textures still looked somewhat dull compared to the old ones. Well I've finally found the problem, and have begun making fixes for all my stuff. This one being the first to be fixed due to its popularity. Yaaay!
I've run into a problem while editing textures: they are way way brighter than they should be. I'm guessing it's my DDS encoding thatvs at fault, since I'm using Paint.NET's extended plugin.
at the time my fix was simply darkening all the textures, but now, provided your IGP11 is up to date, you just need to make sure you export the textures in the right dds format. IE dxt1, bc1, usually while exporting GIMP gave me options for that. IGP11 will be able to tell you which particular format the textures are dumped in
Disregard my initial comment, mod works BEAUTIFULLY in 2024, running ds3 1.1.5! For anyone who may have issues with IG11, I had two tex override folders created in my pc for some reason. Anyway, mod works amazingly. f*#@ing love ya, Murloc.
Can someone tell me how to use this thing in game? I"m new to dark souls 3 modding and I have no idea how to do this. I know this is old and I need to know how to get this to work in the game. THank you.
Would you be able to turn the lucerne upside down so it slams with the beak? It really irks me that it's such a simple fix but I have no idea how to do it
I can't, as I don't know how to work with Dark Souls model formats, but someone made that exact mod for DSR, you could try asking them. https://www.nexusmods.com/darksoulsremastered/mods/243
Hei, it's safe to use right? I only want the golden crest shield cuz it's f*#@ing green in the game. I need blue one. Dragon crest shield has no shiny shiny like golden crest.

How did you go around this problem? Thank you
