I feel like the only thing that really needs to be changed is the stamina penalty being removed when you're overequipped to encourage heavy armor use. Fat rolls already feels like a fair trade off in this game; stamina penalty on top of that is a killer though.
there is a system for playing like Havel , super heavy shield and armors , and blocking instead of evading not many people go with such playstyles , but you can see these things from time to time (recall seeing these in PvP videos , or people trying to use really special builds like shield builds)
It's all fun and games, to try to use the super tank-build, but when your shield will only protect you from one, maybe two kicks in PvP, the heavy armor and big ol' shield ain't really doing all that much.
But, on the subject of heavy armor, I'd like the heavy armor to _actually_ give a valid defense bonus. Some armors already do this (Lothric Vs. Lightning, Black Vs. Fire.) But other heavy-ass-f*#@ sets provide very little bonus despite being twice as heavy as a lighter set.

If so how? Because frankly I have no clue what to do with it.
