Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but is there any way to transfer my save from Seamless Co-op back to the vanilla game? I finished the base game with a friend using Seamless, but since he doesn't have the DLCs, he didn't want to continue. So now I'd like to keep playing solo but with the benefits of vanilla—like player messages, ghosts, bloodstains, etc. I'm not sure if it's possible to transfer the save and remove Seamless-specific items that might trigger a ban in vanilla.
You can transfer your save back by changing the file extension from .co2 to .sl2 Save file location: "\AppData\Roaming\DarkSoulsIII\ {STEAM ID}\DS30000.co2"
Rename the file from DS30000.co2 to DS30000.sl2 to transfer your save from the Seamless Co-op version to the vanilla version of the game.
Important note: This may result in a ban if your save contains custom items from the Seamless Co-op mod. The mod manager includes a feature to remove these items—I've tested it and it seems to work fine, but it's not fully verified. Use at your own risk.
Where exactly are the Seamless Co-op save files located, and how can I remove the Seamless items to safely convert the save for use in the vanilla game?
Save file location: "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DarkSoulsIII\STEAM ID\DS30000.co2"
for removing the seamless coop items: You must be in game (not in main menu) using the mod manager tool go to Current game tab > right click on your character > cheat table
there is no something called "safely convert the save for use in the vanilla game" as you mentioned. Use at your own risk.
Hello and excuse my lack of knowledge with modding DS3 as I've only tried Seamless Coop in Elden Ring. I would like to ask if this mod manager version of SC allows for me and my friends to play it with bigger mods like Embers or Convergence? Also, do we all need the DLCs?
You can play with these mods, but you need to install eveything manually. Note this tool does not support the custom weapons etc. For the DLC, yes all of you must have it
Hello, Firstly thank you for the work and secondly i noticed that the buil editor doesn't have the items from the Ringed City DLC and would it be possible to add them ??
Hello! Is it possible to install more mods along side seamless co-op using your mod manager? Like a randomizer or a content mod like cinders (i know you dont deal with compatibilities, but im curious if your manager grants any quality of life when trying to setup something like that)
Hey, technically you can if u setup everything manually. Keep in mind if any mod requires older game version like Conversion mod does! Then the tool simply won’t work properly specially current game and save backup features.
Sorry if this is noted somewhere and I missed it, but does only the host need this, or does every member have to get it and set it up with the same settings?
