First time I am playing DS3 and seriously considering this mod.

Is there any risk of getting banned for using this mod? Although I am playing offline since I don't want to deal with PVP, I don't want to put my game at risk from ever being able to play online.

You're safe so long as you're offline, just don't use the mod when you play online. To be more specific my mod itself is just a file that does nothing on its own, you need to use ModEngine2 which will force the game to read my mod.

Read the instructions for ModEngine2 and it should be clear, ModEngine2 gives you a separate way to launch the game which disables EAC and prevent you getting banned offline. When you want to play online, then don't launch the game with ModEngine2 so mods won't be active and you'll be fine.

Just make sure to read the README that comes with ModEngine2.

I really appreciate the mod, this mod is the first mod I downloaded in Dark Souls 3.

I apologize for still learning about DS3 mods. Previously I was confused, why this mod did not work at all. There was not a single illusion wall that revealed automatically.
After I investigated again, I just realized that in the mod you are not allowed to stack folders in a folder. I mean in this mod there are 2 initial folders, namely 'always' and 'embered'. And in each of these mods there is a folder called 'event'.
After knowing this, I just realized that I should have only taken one of the mods between always' and 'embered'. In the end I chose 'always' and copied the 'event' folder into the 'mod' folder and tried to restart the game from the beginning and the mod worked.

    Thank you very much. 😁

Great mod! Just wanted to point out that it doesn't seem to work with the Anor Londo Illusory Wall as it actually leads to a funny interaction, if this mod is installed, where your character clips into the wall (and into the air) if they try to roll into that particular illusory wall.

That's strange, that didn't happen with me, I did a full playthrough with the mod to test all walls.
This is the one that leads to ceremony location where you "marry" Anri right? Did you have any progress in Yuria's quest?

      Thank you for reporting this.

Yes, that is indeed the wall. Attacking it normally still reveals it and it's the only one that exhibit this behavior (for me). Did two playthroughs and both times it happened, all other walls cleared up as expected. I revealed the wall when I first got there and hadn't yet trigger the marriage with Anri. Got a funny scare out of me on the first time when I tried to roll into it and my character flung into the air.

I think I have to try testing it at different stages of the quest to see what's going on.

I did some testing and digging and that wall shouldn't at all be affected by my mod, because it's tied to a quest it uses a completely separate script which I hadn't edited so it should behave normally, and it did for me when testing.

When re-reading you comment I realized I may have misunderstood what you meant... when you say your character clips into the wall (and into the air), I'm not sure what you mean exactly, because rolling into an illusory wall should behave the same as if you attack it, you are supposed to clip through it and make it disappear, that's base game behavior.

No idea then, just pointing out what happened to me. I do have other mods installed so it could have been affected by something else but don't believe I installed anything that interacted with illusory walls, save for this mod. What happened to me was that when I tried rolling into the wall my character suddenly warped around the height of the Gwin statue as the illusory wall disapeared. Gave me a quick scare but didn't affect anything else really.

It hadn't happened without the script installed as I had done a run previously (before installing the script) and rolling didn't cause the upward movement. Could also be some unrelated bug as I didn't try it again (next play-though I just attacked it with an R1). But all I can say for sure is that, for some reason, that was the only wall that wasn't auto revealing (maybe the new version fixes it). Thanks for looking into it :D

Thanks for the details, there's a good chance this is a vanilla bug that happened by coincidence. But anyway I added this wall to the mod now anyway so it'll disappear when you walk close to it regardless.
