    is there anyway you can provide a modified version that keeps the vanilla attack/roll commitment (no animation cancelling), but removes input queueing? the input queue buffer is obnoxiously large and detracts from the combat.

    To each their own, but DS games are designed with "attack commitment"

    You'd need to tweak other stuff to restore the difficulty in some aspects

    NPC invasions look a bit weird now, the greatsword guy stutters around and have unpredictable attacks. They use the same moveset as the player, i don't know if this can be fixed.
