Hello, sorry to bother, but is there a way to return the Players light? Is there a way I could it myself?
I checked with this Mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls3/mods/1379?tab=description
And it seems like it's not editing the same file as the one in this mod, so I don't know why the light would be disabled for the player. I would gladly sacrifice a few point lights to get it back, due to the heavy amounts of Fresnel and other "ambient" lighting the players model has, which without the "fake light", looks terrible in many places.
Great mod, but I found that the light source of this mod can only display the player's own shadow, while Embers mod can display the shadows of NPCs and scene objects. Is there any way to achieve the latter?
yes you can merge my mod and his , my mod has more light source being shadowcasting but his like you said activate it for more stuff , but by merging the sfx file you can profit from both ! (though after testing it candles look weird )
Quick question, I see that this can be installed via UXM. Will this mod cause an Online ban? I'm trying to find info on DS modding and there doesn't seem to be a ton readily available. I want to use the Shadow Mod as well but I've read that ANY mod that edits the param folder will cause a ban. Basically I'm just trying to figure out what's safe to edit/play with and what isn't, and I can't seem to find that anywhere. This looks incredible btw.
well it s complicated , it works if merged , but some stuff don't look right , like candles , i might make a special patch that merged both without including candles shadow cast , what do you think ?
unfortunately i'm not really familiar with DS3 modding scene , as far as i'm aware your only option is a good reshade, shadow mod , embers mod and my mod

Cheers in advance!
A: No, it doesn't.
Q: Does installing it with UXM works?
A: Yes, it does.
Working good so far. Thanks!
cool mod! Like you said: combine this with the shadow mod should give the hole game shadow casting likes from all sources! Insane!
A little question:
Does it work with the Embers mod from "fromsoftserve" too?
I don't think so right?
And what mod do you say should we install to combine your mod with other good graphic mods?
