    Hi there.
    I finally made a flail))

Check my "Authentic weapons" mod. It is a mace/club replacer.

Thank you for sharing this mod.
It looks pretty cool. Weapons with physics are pretty rare in DS3.
    I replaced the Mace - wp_a_0801.
It seems like it was made purely on cloth physics and it looks like the guys from servername know how to apply it on custom meshes.
I will contact freemathieuroy for more details.
It's a good chance for me to extend my modding skills.
    Thank you.

You're so welcome! The folks from servername are pretty talented and I wouldn't had got this without them. I would love to see more flail models to come for this game. Also I'm digging the mods you posted right on here. They're trippy but a appealing kind of trippy.  I Especially love the eastern helm and angel wings!

      Thank you.
The "trippy" is the right word to describe my mods, and it is a good complement because that means that my mods are not casual))
I played Warcraft, Heroes of Might and Magic, Skyrim, Dragon Age, Darksiders, NWN, Witcher and many other fantasy games and all of them were cool. But I got bored of generic fantasy with the same patterns and the visual style of DS3 is the best for me at the moment.(The Disciples reminds me the grimdark style of DS btw)
I don't mean the realistic regular weapons like claymore and armor sets wich are mostly just knight armors.
They are good because they make the game to look realistic and immersive.
I mean the organic style of hollowness that may be encountered in any part of the game, the hollow body with its veins, the corvian great scythe, frayed blade, pontiff knight sword and scythe.
I mean I like that stygian design with roots and veins, also the hole-filled design that looks like a dry corpse.
The best example of such design is the angel model(my favorite angel design from all fantasy games)

A visual style of Giger and Beksinski.
Like in Scorn, but the Scorn is too much for me.
The way how Froms used this style mixing with generic fantasy looks beautiful for me.
So, when I generate textures via Stable Diffusion, I use words like "gothic" "ornate" "victorian style" "stygian" "grimdark" "chthonic" "corvian" "sinister" "eldritch" "fungi" "cell network" and so on.
For sure such style is not appreciated by many people because it is specific but I believe it fits the game's atmoshphere and brings a little bit of visual difference to the game.
This is applicable to my last mods. I started with buying of 3D models from cgtrader with textures and there the influence of this style is minimal.

Thank you for good words about the eastern helm. It is not popular and I wanted to remove it one time.
I love the cloth physics very much and these glowing ribbons on it are moving very beautiful. If I will learn how to apply cloth physics on custom meshes - I will try to upgrade it.
The angel wings are cool indeed but not quite playable because they are too big.
So, thank you for kind words. This motivates me to continue my hobby.
Btw I found the modding as a new game that never ends since there are a plenty of cool 3D models and textures to integrate into DS3.
I practice modding for one year and I have occupation every evening. It is very fun.
In the childhood I liked to draw weapons and characters, now I can make them more material, at least 3D.
So I recommend to all to try this kind of game))
If you want I could show you how to generate cool images via Stable Diffusion and to convert them into weapons or armor parts. It is very easy and doesn't require good drawing skills or good 3D modelling knowlegde.
All you will need are: Photoshop with DDS plug-in, local Stable Diffusion witch is free and open source, Blender, UXM and FlverEditor.

Just take a look how great look these images:

The only limitation is only your imagination.(A regular description of any 3D modelling software)

And they can be easily converted into 3D plan meshes via Displace modifier. Perfect for symmetrical weapons or shields. Apply a tilled texture on a cylinder and you will have a polearm handle.
Add some curve modifiers and they become armor plates.
The best thing is that you use the same images as textures so you don't need to take care of UV mapping.
The Photoshop has a built-in 3D filter to convert any image to normal maps.

Those look sick! I can tell that you have great taste texturing :) the angel wings mod does look big on the character but I didn't mind that all that much. And I loved your samurai helm mod cuz it adds a actual samurai feel on the eastern armor and I wished I could see more stuff like that in this ds3. I can't wait to see what else you have cooked up for your next upload!  I also am a big fan of the fantasy genre, mainly dark fantasy. Though I do agree with you in that the generic fantasy feel that most games do can be tiresome at times. That's why I love the atmosphere and the hollowness feel in from's games. It's a nice breath of fresh air. I myself have been trying to do some model porting from other fromsoftware games to ds3 such as importing the underrated crystalline set that might replace a existing armor or just using yapped to manually place it in. but alas, it seems to be more complicated than I thought. As with model Ive tried to port there seems to be a glaring issue that's plaguing it, such as trying to port the whole red guard armor from sekiro into the game such as missing textures and issues with the arms where there are invisible spots on the body. (That was before I saw that the creator of champion's ashes successfully ported that into the game with no issues at all that was moot. RIP ) And I attempted to port the flail into the game myself but there seems to be a issue I've heard about FLVER ruining the chain physics of the ball and chain to where they're just static with the rest of the model. It's going to be a while for me to wrap my novice brain on how this all works but hopefully it will pay off in the future and it's best not to rush things since I'm still learning. Also I got every modding tool except for Photoshop, but thank you for the recommendations! (And my apologies for the late reply, I just recently had a thunderstorm in my area which knocked out the power in my neighborhood and temporarily killed my internet.)

In ordee to enlarge your knowledge I would suggest to watch the guides of ScrubMilk.
Most of them are related to other mod aspects, like summons in ER or updating the shop item list.

      DS3
      https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLk3PHlXPeN-hs2auFMKuXHsuFXznJ5xtv

      Elden Ring
      https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLk3PHlXPeN-hLhvzBwI6BkDzJ5R7wTVaP

From him I learned the basics of modding.
You may find the answers on your issues, like invisible body parts(masks) which are hidden from the settings in the data0.bnd and can be disabled via Yapped. Like #64# material name that will make the mesh to be hidden if this mask in enabled on helmet params.

Actually only this video gave me all basic knowledge about how to import a custom mesh(it is for ER but works in the same way for DS3, I started to mod with ER and then migrated to DS3):

Any other videos are optional depending on what you want to mod.

So that being said, I wish you good luck and great mods. You can ask me anything anytime if you will need some assistance and I will have the some experience in that domain.
      Thank you for kind words.

About my latest mods, check this Deserter Armor. It is the newest armor that I did.
It is also included in my early game visual changes compendium.
