Thank you so much for this mod, it's extremely easy to install and works flawlessly. The game runs so much smoother!! Thanks for making my first Dark Souls III experience that much better.
Decided to give this gem another go and honestly, couldn't believe there is no native ultrawide support, then realized it's been 8 years since release and now I feel old lmao. Came across this "Unsqueezed" mod at first, which didn't work. This, however, did the trick wonderfully, and super simple at that. Kudos!
Will using this mod get you banned when playing online? I know that Elden Ring has a very strict anti-cheat solution, not sure about this game. Thanks.
I'm sure someone has already said this, but having SpecialK enabled with this mod active causes an immediate crash to desktop. Disabling SpecialK and relaunching the game seems to fix this issue.
In the files section here, there's an optional pack of config files you can download. Instead of creating your own ini file, try using the one from the pack.
Is the FOV not working for anyone else? I'll put it at "15," which should be 60 FOV iirc. According to the description, "0" would be default which is 45 (or something around that, point notwithstanding) and so my FOV should be 60. However, when I get into game my camera is orbiting the planet in the deep stratosphere. When I hit something it takes 15 seconds to hear the hit due to the speed of sound and the distance I'm from my player. I don't really understand this.
Whether I do 15 or 65 my camera is a few nautical miles from my character. I don't see anyone else bringing up this issue so I'm wondering what I could even be doing wrong. I've just had to fall back on cheat engine to edit my fov every time I get in game.

This mod works on Linux perfectly.
1. Copy the d3d11.dll into your Game Folder.
2. Open Winecfg of the Dark Souls 3 WinePrefix. Under Library choose:
Add d3d11.dll, Native.
Done.
Thanks to the Mod Author!
Because I put the DLL in the game folder... OK!
Created the "ini" file but WITH or WITHOUT the "ini" file the game runs at 120... so HOW we proceed to match the game fps with monitor refresh rate ?
🤷🏻♂️

Do you have any other mods installed?
