Have you ever had a problem with weightpainting legs of those crabs? I often encounter a problem that makes those legs static like they had no skeleton attached when weights are properly displaced. Same goes for sewer centipede or other creatures tails.
well it usually depends on the bone you paint the weightpaint to they sometimes have dummy bones for controlling things like IK or root motion, usually are parented different so they don't move like the principal armature (with no rotation or resize) other thing maybe how your software is applying the weights to the armature or how are you attaching your mesh to the flvr Armature file i used blender for all of my monsters

not sure how many i can pump out tho, i don't have much time now a days
