   can confirm at time of posting that this works. I used this because my ultimate bonfire didn't trigger in my own game; had to try three times with this one to get it to work.
   
   also accidentally popped the master of rings when messing around in the estus/bonfire save file. you just need to kill ludleth for his skull ring

      I have not tried it, but it should work if you deny internet access to the game.
