Some users here report that the game's last DLC - Ringed City - and the patches that came with it seem to have broken two functions of Dark Souls III FOV Fix: Stafe Cam (F5) and Better Cam (F6).
I'll see what I can do to fix that, if it is possible. Stay tuned.
- Reinstalling game + DLCs : DONE
- Searching for updated CE table to fix broken functions : NOT NEEDED?
EDIT: After reinstalling the game, I tried Stafe Cam and Better Cam with my save, and both seem to work... I need to know if you guys who report problems, noticed them only in the Ringed City levels or in the whole game. Unfortunately I am not a very skilled player, and so my actual save is not very advanced (I had a more advanced one, but lost it after a problem with my PC), so I cannot test it by myself at the moment.
Dear author. Please make your fix for Elden Ring. First of all, the Strafe Cam function is of interest. The comfort of playing on a mouse without this feature suffers greatly. I am also trying to get the ability to change the mouse sensitivity in a wider range that gives the game menu, but my experience is not enough. (if you increase the mouse dpi, switching between fixed targets becomes instantaneous (from the slightest movement, it looks like it is tied to the mouse dpi)
Yeah. I've also been looking for it. FS camera controls are terrible. Im hoping for a blessed+5 modder to take a chance on Elden Ring.
The best idea that I could think of is to ""create"" an invisible target for lock-on. That way we would be able to strafe freely without exposing our backs and, most importantly, not get nauseated by the camera spazzing out as soon as a large sized enemy is at melee range.
Anything would be better than what FS can currently offer.
is there a working mod that includes the strafe cam fix? its such a pain for me as a keyboard and mouse player and proper pc experience doesnt mess with it
Just got this mod because I have always complained about the weird camera following and the very low FOV and I am so happy to say that this is probably one of the most best mods for DS3. DS3 might not have the worst camera out of all the From Software games but it sure isnt great, so having this mod makes this game so much better.
The "HackTool:AndroidOS/ZkarletFlash" warning is probably due to it being made using Cheat engine. The strafe cam works well and is a must for mouse & keyboard. Thanks.
