I had an issue where the LUT effect wasnt able to load. It was because the textures needed for it in order to work are missing in the modern reshade installation. So i installed reshade, draged the "Dar Souls III EclipseFX2.ini" in the game folder and i added the textures from the zip file to the textures on the reshade installation. DO NOT override existing files.
So just put ...\EclipseFX-II-1006-1-11-1643846270.zip\reshade-shaders\Textures\*ALL CONTENT* into your DS3 installation into the DARK SOULS III\Game\reshade-shaders\Textures. DO NOT override.
Nice to hear. This is the whole reason I just keep a copy of the reshade version I used when creating a preset, just in case weird incompatibilities like these arise.
It said that it failed to load a file and when i use the mod it just makes my screen black. I can still hear my guy walking around when the screen is black, but it's obviously a little hard to play the game with no vision. Is there a way to fix this?
Is the entire ExlipseFX-II folder extracted into the game folder? Are the files REPLACED during the extraction? This isn't seeming to do anything. It shows the Eclipse.ini in the reshade menu, but nothing happens when its selected? Thanks
EDIT: OK, so Ive set the shader and texture paths manually, I seem to have this working, for the most part. Its starting to look like we can achieve greatness here. However, each of the checked options are in the reshade GUI and checked 3 times. Like 3 instances of applylut, 3 instances of piratebloom etc. If I manually uncheck 2 of each, it starts to look ok, but I have to do it fairly constantly. And that DOF is so bad, Im glad that can be toggled. I don't know how anyone plays games with that heinous of a DOF effect. Walk outside right now, look up the street and tell me if houses 200 feet away from you look like you're looking through a glasses prescription that isn't yours. No, that answer is no.
Anyway, if we can figure out why each effect is being applied thrice, and fix it, I think were going to have a good looking mod here.
I can't seem to get this to work correctly at all currently. I saw the posts below about the ini not working because of the reshade update, but after downloading the zip with your reshade ini and unpacking into the game directory, I have an issue where I can't select any shaders in the reshade menu at all, nothing shows up. I also tried uninstalling reshade and just using your files and had the same problem.
That is my fault. I forgot to include the actual preset .ini in the zip file. I'll fix it real quick.
EDIT: The new .zip file should contain a Dark Souls III EclipseFX2.ini file now. Choose that as your preset and also make sure that the correct LUT is selected in the LUT tools effect. EDIT2: DSLUT4.png is the correct LUT, but the preset should set it by default. EDIT3: The ReShade.ini contains the path to the effects and textures. You have to go into it(or into the ReShade gui) and set them manually to what's on your system because the paths are obviously not going to be the same.
Yeah, it's gone wrong because your reshade.ini file isn't compatible with the latest version of Reshade. Posting .ini files only became obsolete for this reason.
You need to upload every related file(reshade-shaders folder, dxgi, ini).
You can't unless you remake the entire preset. The snow was made bright intentionally since snow is highly reflective IRL and you aren't really supposed to see far in a snow storm like in the beginning of the Ashes DLC.
I don't speak Spanish but Google Translate is telling me that you are asking for a video installation tutorial. There already are plenty of tutorials on how to install ReShade on youtube, follow one of those and just extract the .zip file of this preset in the folder where the game .exe is located.

Hope that helps.

This is why you get duplicate effects.
