General Changes:

  • Super Weapons and Super Spells are now “Covenant” weapons and spells. All supers have been nerfed in terms of scaling and/or damage. However, the covenant item costs of these items has been reduced
  • Added player stat leveling at every bonfire
  • Added estus allotment at every bonfire
  • Polished up the resurrection system. Respawn point for each boss has been set either next to the fogwall or at the nearest bonfire. 
  • Changed main menu theme to unused soundtrack “Eclipse”
  • Changes startup “Press Any Button” sound to something less sharp sounding
  • Fixed the HUD icon for soul gain items not displaying properly
  • Decreased Spirit of the High Priestess’ resistance 
  • Reduced cost of covenant spells, armor and weapons by half
  • Shuffled around starting stats for Cryomancer so it has 18 total attunement
  • Gave all covenant shops custom altars/shops
  • Assassin’s Brotherhood is now the covenant for dex builds, located in Undead Settlement (near Dilapidated Bridge bonfire)
  • Clan of Giants is now the covenant for strength builds, located in Halfway Fortress
  • Old Wolf of Farron is now the covenant for quality builds
  • Forossan Sages covenant has its own altar in the Church of Sacrifices at Undead Settlement
  • Forlorn Dissenters covenant has its own altar in the Rope Bridge Cave at Ariandel
  • Aldrich Faithful covenant was moved to Upper Cathedral at Cathedral of the Deep
  • Warriors of Sunlight covenant was moved next to Wyvern corpse on Great Bridge at Farron Keep
  • Spears of the Church covenant was moved close to the entrance to Farron keep at Road of Sacrifices (before the ladder)

Item Changes:
  • Reduced max carry capacity of Divine Blessings to 4
  • Changed purchase price of all Ember to 1200
  • Swapped locations for Cloranthy and Sage’s Ring
  • Removed Arcane Infiltrator set from Orberk
  • Updated description of Assassin’s set to accurately display its effects
  • Doubled duration of Red Blossoms and tripled the duration on Blooming Red Blossoms
  • Titanite Slabs can now be transposed from Greater Foe boss souls
  • Titanite Slabs can now be bought from the Shrine Handmaid after giving her Alchemist’ Ashes
  • Fixed Sanguine Bow’s infusion icon
  • Fixed Bloodoath Rapier’s infusion icon
  • Added descriptions to elemental throwing knives
  • Added icons to elemental throwing knives
  • Moved Grave Warden Pyromancy Tome to right outside the Royal Darkwraith arena
  • Made Abyssal Flame transpose from the Royal Darkwraith, loot in Wolnir’s room replaced with 2 Gravelord Relics

Armor Changes:

  • Nerfed defenses of Dreadnought Armor and Paladin Armor

Spell Changes:
  • Rebalanced every single spell
  • New Necromancy - Sacrifice: Violently destroy your undead minion causing damage to any enemy near it and fully restoring your HP. - Placed on the Minions of the Gravelord covenant shop
  • New Necromancy - Plague Strike: Hurl a concentrated miasmic ball at enemies, dealing damage, lowering magic defence and weakening their attacks for 30 seconds. - Placed on Necromancer’s Tome in Undead Settlement
  • Added a plague effect to Putrid Fumes that lowers enemy’s magic defense and weakens enemy attacks for 30 seconds.
  • Reduced healing of Vampirism from 3% HP every second for 45 seconds to 2% HP every second for 45 seconds.
  • Increased range of Soul Blade by 20%
  • Changed Soul Blade animation to Farron Dart animation
  • Made it so the debuff effect on Bursting Fireball only applies at very close range, and only once per cast.
  • Changed icon of Summon Thrall to a thrall instead of Grave Warden
  • Removed stagger of Flame body
  • Changed all Stoneplate rings to give 65% resistance, Speckled has 20%
  • Moved Hidden Body to Oolacile Scroll
  • Updated the descriptions of Divine Pillars of Light and Divine Ascension to mention the invulnerability aspect
  • Added a trail effect to Moon Blast
  • Changed impact effect of all moon spells to the same as Moon Hail’s
  • Removed max FP boost of Soul Instability
  • Reduced soul cost of most Cryomancy spells

Weapon Changes:
  • Normalized all weapon reinforcement so that the scaling will now better indicate the strength of a weapon.
  • Raised requirements on Divine Blade
  • Reworked Moonlight Greatsword. New visuals and updated 2H R1 swings
  • Added Moonlight Straight Sword (No custom moveset for now)
  • Reverted Twin Princes’ GS weapon art to vanilla
  • Most weapons/infusions can now be buffed
  • Made Soulbrandt and Demonbrandt match each other in weight
  • Reduced weight of Thorn-wrapped cudgel
  • Increased weight of Spiked Willow Staff
  • Updated visuals of Abyssal Flame
  • Reduced speed of scythes by 20%

Map Changes:
  • Reworked Irithyll Dungeon and Profaned Capital
  • Gave the Smouldering Crab in Demon Ruins lava immunity and fire breath instead of bubble spit
  • Made the teleports between Farron and Catacombs more obvious, and increased the action button radius
  • Moved the Greater Foe skeleton warden to the corridor where the Catacombs bonfire used to be
  • Placed more messages hinting about the Royal Darkwraith around Farron, and extended the message to make it more clear
  • Made all Ravenous Crystal Lizards not respawn
  • Made Stray Demon under Wolnir not respawn
  • Added item to chest behind Aeromancer vendor
  • Made the basilisk room in Farron load in properly
  • Added an image of the Dreg Heap to the warp painting in Lothric Castle
  • Made the prompts of the 2 DLC warp paintings more accurately display their function
  • Made it so Ashen Flame is the only item on its item corpse
  • Moved hanging loot corpse outside Church of Sacrifices so it doesn’t get stuck
  • Moved mimic outside Deacon’s fight so the item can’t get stuck in the wall
  • Removed textureless statue in Church of Sacrifices
  • Made skeleton in Smouldering Lake not pop into existence
  • Changed bonfire warp image and name of “Kaathe’s Rest” bonfire. Now named “Untended Shrine”
  • Nerfed Bonewheel skeletons. Now deal half as much damage when rolling and very minor bleed.
  • Nerfed HP of enemies in Cemetary of Flame
  • Fixed treasure itemlot of Deserter Set at Highwall
  • Fixed treasure itemlots of Obscuring Ring and Calamity Ring at Consumed King’s Garden

Boss Changes:
  • Reworked Abyss Watchers again. Slightly slowed them down and majorly increased their attack cooldown
  • Cleared out some pots from Wolnir’s arena
  • Added a fogwall and a health bar to the Dragonkin Beast
  • Changed Lilianne’s boss music to a cut track named “The Kiln of First Flame”
  • Changed Consumed King’s boss music to its intended cut track named “Old King of Lothric”
  • Fixed a bugged respawn point for Curse-rotted Greatwood
  • Made Wolnir not de-aggro from far away
  • Made Kaathe/Lilianne’s door close during refights
  • Increased Dancer’s HP by 25% and increased damage by 25%
  • Reverted Consumed King’s grab animation to normal speed so it matches the player
