   I just re installed DS2:SotFS today, do they still softban people for messing with files or is there nobody checking anymore?

      for reshade, and retextures issues no bans. i have ds2 modded visual and sound, never been banned. you should be good

      Sorry for the late reply!
      
      Drag the .ini file just into your Game folder and open the reshade GUI interface and search for the .ini file. it should be in the same region as the installation of ReShade so you see it quickly without switching to other folders! Best of luck to you!
