Well, this was uploaded yesterday and now we have it. A full tutorial of “How to install Seeker of Fire”. Someone made a request for one a while ago, but I didn’t bother making it. Then recently someone then again asked me to make one, so I gave in and spent a few hours compiling a tutorial video as well as a fun trailer to put on to YouTube. Another thing that was bothering me was the fact that some people didn’t install the update patch and claim stuff that was already fixed to be broken. Well, about to permanently pin this to the top, so everyone gets this installed correctly.
And here is the trailer that was also worked on while making the tutorial. Pretty late though.
Guys, I would like to invite you all to donate something for what is one of the best mod (if not the best mod) of the dark souls franchise. The level of dedication of its creator is astonishing, and the fact that is following up with fixes right away is another proof.
We are many, let's make this guy's effort worth it!
@AoiYozora do you have any preference? Is the donation here on nexus mod fine?
I'm just waiting for my first salary to make a donation. Any mod this big, especially one that shows love to Dark Souls 2, more than deserves something.
Since a majority of items have been moved, I was wondering where I could find the Witchtree Branch? I am also aware of the Reddit post with items listed, but it doesn't have the weapon though. The Witchtree Branch is no longer in the place you could find it in the Pit in the Vanilla game, so I take it that it was moved.
Amazing mod. Really love most of the changes only stuck on one thing. How do you finish Cale's quest to get his helm for navlaan quest. Did everything that i could think of.
Hi , I'm really enjoying the mod as it completely changes how experience DS2, I just have a bug to report regarding the lightning sword being all wonky with certain catalyst and just broken with another(sacred chime).
i'm really really liking how different of an experience this is from SOTFS so far, playing with a friend. the only big complaint i have so far, though, is the specific change to hollowing skin tones. normally i wouldn't mind it much if it's just an aesthetic decision, issue being that hollowing assumes your character to be some degree of white or pale, as even 1st stage hollowing will make you white as a sheet while seemingly also changing facial features away from their bases.
in my playthrough i made a black character and it was so evident that i went from a ruddy, reddish tone to looking like Pate any time i died that i never wanted to stay hollow for any reason. i respect the vision, but personally, if it came to a technical mishap like that of every level of hollowing auto-setting your character's skin tone to increasingly unhealthy shades of pale white instead of being variable depending on your unhollowed skin tone, i would've just abandoned the feature since i wouldn't think it's worth compromising for. great mod otherwise, though, coming off of Cinders which was an uninteresting asset-fest.
