If you have the "EZMODE" folder in your game directory, try putting the param file of whatever multiplier durability you want into the param folder of "EZMODE". Should work after that, but if for whatever reason that doesn't work, have the durability param file in both directory param and "EZMODE" param. If that doesn't work then idk...
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be functioning as of 2/17/2025.
After running the Load Loose Param files mod, I extracted all versions of the 10x durability to the .exe folder and overwrote. When starting up my existing save files, the durability values are unchanged. Unequipping and resting at a bonfire do not seem to trigger any durability increase. Not sure how else to troubleshoot as installation was very easy.
EDIT: I am using another mod. As user RockeyLol mentioned below, I did access the modengine.ini folder and moved the param folder/files into that mod directory and still no luck. For reference, the other mod I'm using, which does work, is the Easy Mode mod.
The mod works. For those who use it with other mods, check modengine.ini, the folder from which the mods are loaded is registered there. Throw the folder from the archive there.
Yes, I'm playing the SotFS edition and installed it correctly and still no go. Like others have asked - what indicator is there that this mod is working correctly? I don't see the durability number on any piece of equipment change, nor does it seem like there's actually more durability to any weapon.
i cant get it to work, it not just drop the file inside the param folder? cuz i did that, and also downloaded the load loose param, and still not working
This question might have been asked already. How do I confirm that this mod was installed correctly? Should I see the durability number increase?
I ask because I see no increase to the durability number, and weapons are still losing durability pretty quickly. I am running the SotFS version of DSII. I made sure I installed the Loose Param Files mod before copying over the param files from this mod. I tried using the 10x multiplier for Weapons, Armor, and Rings, and then tried 5x, but neither seem to be working, unless they are working and I just haven't clocked it. Any ideas?
Still painful to use a whip but still a desperately-needed QoL mod. Weapon degredation is almost always a stupid idea and the From games aren't an exception.

Increased Weapon Durability: WeaponParam.param
Increased Armor Durability: ArmorParam.param
Increased Ring Durability: RingParam.param

Good luck, hope this helps a few people! :)

Is there something in it that conflicts with other mods?
