    before downloading this mod and other third party software like Duranzo, and possibly getting banned for it, try this solution first:
    https://steamcommunity.com/app/335300/discussions/0/2425614539578381407/

    it involves just making some controller configuration changes through steam and worked perfectly for me and many others.

    There was a release which included both 32bit and 64bit versions and you didn't update your copy hosted on Nexus to include them both??? Your original source with both versions is a dead URL now...

      if you google "krossx durazno" you'll find the github page which has 32bit and 64bit in its release build

      I believe this version should work with Scholar of the First Sin edition of Dark Souls 2: https://wiki.speedsouls.com/darksouls3:Durazno

      Follow the suggested settings in the readme file contained within the download on this Nexus page for setting up that version.

    Here's how I got it to work with my XBox Series X controller and my PS4 controller (running DS4Windows) for buttery smooth movement and camera input!

    This is all using the newest version of Duranzo, downloaded from the Google Drive link at the top of the mod's description (v0.6-43). This should help with other versions of Duranzo and Steam too.

    First, Steam's controller remapping features can mess things up if configured the wrong way. Rather than using DS2's per-game setting to "force on" or "force off" Steam controller button remapping, use the "global" setting (in Big Picture Mode, under Dark Souls 2, Manage Game>Controller Options>Steam Input Per-Game Setting). Next, make sure that under your global settings, the type(s) of controllers you're using are unchecked (Big Picture Mode main menu>Settings> Controller Settings). You can still turn on custom remaps through Steam per-game ("force on").

    As of writing, Steam thinks Series X controllers are both Xbox One controllers and generic controllers, so I have "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support" checked to prevent double inputs and let Duranzo work.

    Then we'll start configuring the mod. Extract and place it in your game folder as instructed, and open the Duranzo.exe to create the files we need.

    Different versions of Duranzo use different INI formats, so you have to figure out which numbers you want to change and go in and change them manually if you don't want to use the GUI. The GUI divides the actual number in the INI by 10 then rounds to the nearest whole number. Setting it manually in the INI gives more precision.

    Search for and change these settings under [Controller0]:
    LinearADZ=1
    L_Deadzone=200
    L_AntiDeadzone=360
    R_Deadzone=120 (I noticed that the right stick had a larger deadzone at 200 for some reason. About 120 sets it to the same as the left stick, but you might want more if you find that when you quickly switch from face buttons to stick you move the camera unintentionally.)
    R_AntiDeadzone=360

    In my INI I set these numbers for all 4 controllers just to be safe.

    For older builds of Duranzo, you might need to divide those numbers by 10 (except LinearADZ obviously), and there may not be a distinction between settings for the left and right sticks. In that case, use 200 (or 20) as your deadzone and that will be fine.

    And after all that, control is pure butter! Hopefully this helps someone!

    Got it working, downloaded the file from the google drive, put the x64 contents into the game folder, set the settings, restart the program, and play the game with the application running. Really made the game more enjoyable, thank you

    After inserting the x64 files my controller just wont work with this game anymore. Even if I remove the files again, my controller is just dead in this game.

    I was able to use it again by forcing steam mapping, but of course the deadzone fix doesnt work then.

    XBOX One Controller.

    I would recommend to not install this mod, ive been trying for an entire hour to get this working, even reinstalled my controller drivers, but somehow this broke it forever.
