EDIT: I got it to work, for anyone having the same issue all I had to do was first install the latest version of IGP11 and I had to install another random texture mod and put it in the override folder. I installed this one; https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls2/mods/1024

I have no idea what users here are talking about , but it only took 5 seconds to set up and it works properly sure , I use different keybinds so this doesn't exactly shows me the correct keys , but at least I see prompts I recognize and learning keybinds is already part of the fun in these games

It's been a year and this mod author couldn't even answer one of the seven posts asking about their clearly broken mod, meanwhile there are people getting millions of questions on actually well developed mods who still answer them just because they are responsible for their work, if you can't even update your page to say that there might be an issue with the mod why the f*#@ is it even on here??
Using the NMM button on both mods (IGP11 and this one) won't work. I am trying to install it with the instructions given on the mod description and i'm still opening the game with the console controller icons.
