No issues as far as crashes running this on an updated Windows 11 64 bit system. As has been noted, it won't work when the game is running fullscreen. That doesn't mean that you have to run it windowed. Just alt-tab to something else, do the save and alt-tab back. The F5 quick save doesn't work for me, but that isn't unique to this program. It's something with my system. So I use the slot 1-9 saves instead. As noted in the description - this is not just for DS2. You can use this for any game that you can locate the save file for. Thanks very much for creating this!
Forgive my ignorance, but can you explain how the Quick Load function is supposed to work? I have installed the program and pointed it to my save file. I also have .NET installed. When I press F5 to Quick Save, I see the little window pop up saying "Quick Save" at the current time. When I press F9 to Quick Load, I also see a window pop up saying "Quick Load" at the current time, but the game doesn't actually load anything. How do I load my Quick Save?
Same crash here. Trying to point it to my Dark Souls 1 save, get the generic Windows "has stopped working" message and program closes.
Update: Just seen the post about running as admin. Seems to work when run as admin, though after adding a save the program won't even start at all now unless run as admin.
Everything is installed correctly and I am running as Administrator, when I press the quick load hotkey or I load a slot it says it has done so successfully but nothing actually happens in-game. My setup looks just like the pictures linked to this mod, is there a step I am missing?
I would like you to describe issue with more details but before you do that check if you have .NET framework installed. I added link to it in description.
Also you are suppose to point program to specific file/files not folder but I am sure that's what you meant.

Like, what's the need for it versus it's own program that doesn't need such?
Thank you!

Tried to point the program towards my save game folder, crashed.
