   Does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying red aura? I've tried the No regen buff effect mod, but to no avail.

      You can't remove it, afaik. Maybe the texture can be made entirely transparent but it will still not show any other effects.
      
      I'm pretty sure that aura takes priority over every other aura in the game and it increases in intensity the higher your NG+ gets. It is the strongest in NG+10.
