Hey I tried everything added the files in override folder with .tga files converted to .png but when I turn on the game with GEDOSATO running in back ground the game crashes any help Thank you.
I've done everything the front page instructed me... and yet, I can't get the Sharingan eyes to work. The default vanilla eyes of the game keeps coming up regardless of my efforts.
I downloaded GeDoSaTo. I moved the eye files into the same folder. I turned EnableTexturesOveride to True.
Just can't get it to work. Please help.
EDIT: Actually, I got it to work ... finally. It took me 2 hours but-
You must In-game Anti Aligning enabled in Dark Souls 2. You must have GoDeSato running in the background. You have to convert the three TGA files into PNG / DSS. You also need to whitelist Dark Souls 2 in your user profile.
All this was what made it work for me. So much work for an eye texture holy jesus man.
Just so that you know: The game doesn't load .TGA files as texture replacements. This means that people have to convert the tga textures to png or dds manually to get the actual ingame effect.
I downloaded the Ciel phantomhive - black eyes, but in game my character just has full blood red eyes with a bit of black around it,am i supposed to extract all the dds files,or just one?
edit: nevermind,i can see it now,but maybe make it a bit for fleshed out?i could barely see it with my bat eyes
Ok so after my first ingame test for how the textures are loaded it seems that i won't need to make the eyes more realistic looking since there's no left/right. I'm starting to make a bunch of different eyes now. I'll start uploading as i go.
I will do Snake/Vampire types eyes in the near future (if nobody else works on that xP) for sure. Currently trying to get a better realistic base and then keep adding eyes from this base. (i should be done this night with the base i'd like) At least i don't have to worry about making any color variants as the base is always white and you can change the color yourself in character creation.
