i thing the alternate fire is totaly not just fire darkrave,, first all item on the ground (loot item, white glowing soul thing) changed colour, the blood change colour, when i hit obstacle like fence, barrel, there's somekind of dust flying right? it also turn into green, items like lifegem also somehow changed green, bonefire also changed green (im using green alternate fire)

It seems the system share the same fire/smoke particle textures, only altering the color in the rendering side. (the base textures are greyscale) and there's no way to seperate them from the smelter sword's particle and the normal fire/smoke particles.
And that's exactly why I put them as alternative files. You can easily remove the alt-fire mods with the help of NMM, and, if you don't use NMM, removing28ccb7f9.dds, 10876288.dds,and a7b5be1f.dds from your override folder will solve the problem.
yeah, the funny thing is not all pyromancy or fire like torch, fire weapon changed. Man, from software so lazy they use the same particle for smokes, items and stuff.
I am already working on a full pyromancy fire recolor project. however, the particle textures may affects more things that the pyromancies, which can be a pain... >.>
they are not exactly lazy... this is a part of optimization work, I guess. they use the same textures in multiple items/particles, eventually saved a lot of system memory and make the game runs lite and fast.

Too many players complained about it, thus From make a new soul for that blue smelter deamon, and it'll be updated in the next patch. that's what they say in the update info, at least.
Buff skins? will try to... finding / dumping the correct texture could be a big problem, though. (I dumped it so many times but still can't find them... IDK what's wrong with it >.<

Can you check into the Manikin Sabre it's probably one of my favorite weapons in design but the hilt doesn't go with many armors in the game. Please and Thank You!
There are several folders, each has a specific color of this mod. You need to choose the color you want, and put those images into the "override" folder :3

but yes, DS1 is less optimized, (particlly) due to this...
In the next rule update of DS2, there's going to be a new smelter sword from that smelter deamon in DLC2.
Meaning, there's going to be a real Blue Flame Smelter Sword after DLC3 released, probably in 30th this month.

they even add an extra explosive effect in the double smelter greatsword heavy attack. Awesome. XD
This is probably a long shot, but is there any way to retexture the flames of the special attack to also be the corresponding color?
hmm, I don't know... there should be some particle texture to specify the flame, but I keep failing to dump / find it...
