I have added a new option for the Ultmate HKS. The two options add a new blade texture and blade "scars". So it isn't super-shiny and in perfect condition, it now has some age to it. So the choice is yours.
So the options now are this... Ultimate HKS = Shiny perfect blade. Ultimate HKS - Battle Scarred = Aged and scarred blade. Elite HKS = Closest to vanilla - Aged and scarred galvanized blade with alternate hilt design.
hi there! I was wondering if you could fix up the straight swords from the old iron king dlc. They by far are my favorite addition to the game & i don't like that they are worn & broken. If you could be so nice as to help me with this issue of mine I would be very appreciative. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
Okay, i started playing and i have a sword i think you are talking about. There is nothing i can do to make them "unbroken" because the sword i believe you are talking about is made that way. I can't change the model of the sword so there's that. The textures i can change all day long and twice on Sunday. It's just a matter of time.
Possessed armor sword, Ashen warrior sword, & fume Sword. Well now that i have you here i was looking at the long sword & thought it could use some decoration in the center of the blade.
I would love to check out that "damaged" version of the Ultimate Heide Knight Sword. That sounds like a perfect balance of lore and a unique look for the sword. Thanks and keep up the great work.
you should try making ornate retextures for all the Heide weapons, i always felt their weapons looked awfully plain for knight of their caliber.
and of course Dark Souls 2 could always use more high medieval/renaissance ornamentation. I swear it's like DS2 is set in the dark ages sometimes. quite a chronological regression from its predecessor. with that said, keep up the great work!
Yeah i'm going to eventually. This was just the first big step to doing all the heide weapons. I did a simple recolor/refinish of the great lance but i'm really not happy with it because it feels unfinished. So once i finish the Alva Set, which i am doing right now, i might move on to those. Alva first and foremost, then who knows.
Looks good! Personally I prefer the Elite version, as it seems to fit better in the dark souls atmosphere. The Ultimate version is too smooth and shiny IMO.
The ultimate version is supposed to look that way, but that's also why i left the elite version up and available. It's funny though, i can't seem to please anybody at this point with this sword. One person didn't like the elite version and you don't like the ultimate version. I can't win!
I'm not saying you did a bad job on the ultimate version, I think you did a great job. I understand it's suppose to look that way, and some people prefer that look. I was just saying I prefer the aesthetic of the Elite version. Everyone is going to have different preferences and tastes, so it's impossible to please everyone. I would just focus on continuing to create amazing stuff that you like, and don't worry about others.
I know what you meant, i was just being a s#*! about it. I knew i should've at least added some sort of emoticon to suggest i was being less than serious. Oh well, no harm no foul.
BTW, I tried adding the blade scratches from the elite version and it didn't ruin anything. I might offer that as an option, a not-as-shiny blade with scratches.

What swords are you talking about exactly?
