really nice enb, I only use the effects dll though as the main enb dll still gives me frame issue but it looks great! keep up the good work and soon you'll have the best performance enb out there. Definitely endorsing! \o/ praise the sun!
At least we can turn DoF off, but jesus, EVERYONE is posting ENBs with horrific blur that starts half a foot from your face. This is NOT helping anyone that actually wants to look at the main focus of ENBs, the LIGHTING, in terms of actually judging what we want to play with. DoF is nice to take screenshots with (provided it's not over the top, like most unfortunately are), not to play with.
If people honestly play with insanely strong and very close starting DoF, then I have no words.
I wish people would post screenshots without DoF; having to manually try everything and turn off DoF in everything is a giant PITA.
The option for a less strong blur is along the files, I've deciced myself to go for a moderate blur for the default settings, but do feel free to change them for another ENB.
Wow your preset seems to be awesome ! I'll give it a longer try soon but I already love the feeling : no over saturated colors, no darks too dark, a not so exagerated DoF for once .. actually it may be perfect to my tastes I've got a question though, I saw you've put a lower DoF in your files and it's good but is it possible to move the point where the DoF starts further from the character ? I like DoF when it's subtle, when it's only in a quite long distance from me so I can still see precisely without having to be too close. I'm not asking for a preset, just which lines I should change in enbeffectprepass.fx
Also, I just checked your other files and guess what ? Your Realistic preset for FNV is the the one I currently use, the only one fitting my tastes (I was playing FNV just before DS2), and I tested a lot of them previously. Maybe it's a sign haha I took a quick look to your ENBs for Skyrim too and your Naturalism preset blow my mind, it make me want to reinstall it even though I don't like this game I dont want to be a bootlicker, I really find your work amazing, good job
Unplayble is a bit exaggerated but ENB has got issues with 16/10 screens : the screen can be stretched with some ENBs presets without a reason (2 differents versions of a same preset can provoque the issue just by modifying some lines in [ENVIRONMENT] @ enbseries.ini ) For instance your preset works fine on my PC but if you release another version there are chances it won't work anymore .. The other bug is some artifacts/flickering on many surfaces ( http://puu.sh/8rk1Q.jpg ) and this one is present on every presets unless I switch to a 16/9 ratio (which, in turn, stretchs the screen too but I guess it's a limitation of the game since it happens without ENB)
The bad news is Boris can't reproduce those bugs so I think I'm stuck with my problem :p ;(
You may want to edit the resolution rendering settings in the enb files, prepass is set for 1080 res, try setting it to 1200. Just search the file and you'll see what I'm talking about.
It pops up saying my game has stopped working after I installed this ENB. I don't think i did something wrong on installation part since I'm a long time ENB user in Skyrim. Any help?
Looking in the archive this file comes in, it includes "enbsunsprite.tga" I doubt this is compatible with DkS II, and was originally made for Skyrim. Try downloading the Grim Version from WickfutENB DarkSouls2, install that, then replace all the files included in that mod with the matching files from this ENB. That will work.
The Sweetfx folder is missing from the archive, that's why the game crashes on start. You need to put it in your game directory or just disable sweetfx in the enblocal.ini (EnableProxyLibrary=false).

Which value to use exactly? I can't really tell, play around with it untill you're comfortable with the way it looks.

Btw are you gonna update your preset for the new 0.257 version ?
but in enblocal.ini it still turn on... change EnableProxyLibrary=true->false this should fix crash when starting the game
You need to put it in your game directory or just disable sweetfx in the enblocal.ini (EnableProxyLibrary=false).
