I was hoping it would also look good in 1080p, but the jagged black edges are very evident in this resolution 😥 In addition, other letters like 'l' or 'i' look out of line, the 'T' looks like it has horns, among other details that are very evident in full HD. And for some reason, if you look at the word "Inventory", only three letters change, not the whole word. The latter may just be my problem, perhaps some conflict, I haven't had much time to verify it either.

Sorry, but I don't think this mod would ever look good at any resolution below 1440p, because of game's downsampling. And honestly, vanilla font at 1080 looks fine 💁♂️ But, thanks, I'll check some letters you mentioned, maybe they're connected to gamepad button prompts somehow🤔
Try copying the texture file "h_590342587232214102h_354061153252305934.dds" and rename the new file to "h_15243022886765871215h_5842425984415971445.dds". This helped me fix the letters that weren't being affected by the mod. I think the problem is because the game has two translations, Spain Spanish and LATAM Spanish. Even though both use the same special characters, they use different textures, and one of them was not being covered.
I think if your PC is able to run DS2 (with LE) at 4K, this mod shouldn't decrease any noticeable performance. Technically, textures could be compatible with original DS2, just with different names (and installation methods), but I can't test it, since I do not own original game 🤷♂️
