Open ds2 and get to where you see continue game, than go to your dark souls 2 save location


Should be here C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\DarkSoulsII

Then you should replace the file. After that try to load it and it should say failed to load character data, then start a new game
Go back load it and enjoy!
