For anyone looking for texture mods of IGP11 to be converted into this here, can try this wonderful mod pack that some good guy convert GeDoSaTo mods to be IGP11, which can be used here to converted into for DS2LE.

Hi, how do I rename the old textures to work with DS2Lightingine? I am trying to convert some older textures from IGP11. Textures with this 65536_7687968109768115494 are successful in conversion. The older ones, such as: 00ac8A3E I can't convert because of how they are named.
FYI this tool DOES work on Steam Deck, but it doesn't open anything to tell you that it worked. I ran it both under Proton Tricks and as an add-to-Steam program, so I don't know if one or the other is necessary or if they both work.
Old load icon mods are good to test with since it's one of the quickest textures you can use to check if the tool worked properly.

Well that was quick, had a heavy modded game set up from a year ago and program went zoom took less than 10 seconds. 7008 of 7009 converted...... now what is that mystery file.
I second! And not just ui mods I might add; there are a whole bunch of mods which only work for igp11 atm, but I assume with DS3 there's the added nuisance to unpack the dcx files to replace the renamed textures
